Hello, Dad! It’s your 100th birthday today and I praise God for you are still alive. First of all, I want to thank God for your life because even though I was closer to Mom back when she was still living, you never failed to approach me and develop a harmonious relationship with me. You are the father that the Lord blessed me and my sister, you are the father that He has given us to protect us and provide for us. And you are the husband that God has chosen for Mom.

Tonight, I want to share with everybody how loving you are as Mom’s husband. Since I am your eldest, I have seen and known how much you cared for Mom. There were many times that you asked for my help to surprise her for her birthday, for your wedding anniversary, and even for your “I want to surprise her because I want to make her kilig” act. You made Mom laugh even when she cannot and you made her smile even when she’s weak. You never failed to take her out for a movie date even though you two are aging.
