How-to Make a Quesadilla A quesadilla can be an easy and low costing college meal. Ingredients needed to make are two tortillas, corn, tomato, shredded cheese and refried beans. First, take two tortillas out of the package and butter thoroughly. Next, grill the tortillas on the George Foreman grill. This will make the tortillas crispy. After you’re done grilling put on toppings of corn, tomato and cheese onto a tortilla. Then, put the other tortilla on top of the toppings and put the quesadilla back onto the grill. Chipotle Mexican Grill idea of providing quality in a simple menu with high-quality ingredients, classic cooking techniques and a distinctive interior design has remained at the core of the commitment. Chipotle ability to serve a menu that focuses only on servicing burritos, burrito bowls, tacos and salads is a success. From 1754-1763, Britain fought the French and Indian war. Although Britain had won the war, they still had a lot of war debts to pay off. Britain turned to the colonies to pay off their debts by taxing them. The taxes angered the colonists because they believed it violated their rights. Benjamin Franklin had initially proposed the Albany plan of Union to unite the colonies, however this law was rejected by all of the colonial governments. It wasn't until after all of the British laws and taxes that the colonies would unite and write the Declaration of Independence.
Restrepo is a documentary that portrayed the daily lives of American soldiers during their duty in a very dangerous part of Afghanistan known as “the Valley of Death”. What makes the movie so special is that the viewer is dropped into war immediately. There is no back story or obvious message rather than residing along with 15 soldiers in their deployment. The viewers are not only introduced to the horrific events of a war zone, but they are also shown the real emotions that are carried behind battles as well. Restrepo does a great job reflecting on what it is like to be a soldier fighting against an enemy a long ways from home land. There is no doubt that it is a beautiful thought that we care for the soldiers who do the fighting
Changes are always made for the better to help improve schools, countries and organizations. This was what the Global Learning Charter Public School (G. L. C. P. S.) has done to the student Handbook from the years 2015-2016 (Document 1) to 2016-2017 (Document 2), in order to improve the school community. Recently the school has added gym attire but, it was only to be used on the days students had physical education. Later on, the gym attire rule changed, giving the high school students more privileges. When looking at both documents, it is noticeable that Document 2 was printed in a smaller font size. School hours have also changed, now having an additional ten minutes added to the schedule. In order to improve G. L. C. P. S. has modified the student handbook, to solve the problems that had happened in the past.

There are many of peculiarities between being a traditional and non traditional student. I have been enrolled at Bethel University for 2 years and 7 months and I love the freedom of being a non traditional student. Being a non traditional student mean having access to a virtual campus at any time of the day or night. Some online universities are synchronous and other are asynchronous. Synchronous is were students appear online to complete the assignment together and asynchronous is just the opposite. I enjoy the discussions and debates with students but for working adults or stay at home parent this can cause difficulties.

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) (DEEWR, 2009) identifies inquiry as central to effective early years learning. Teachers are able to provide opportunities for an inquiry-based approach to learning that can assist young children to explore their family through the history curriculum. Inquiry based learning is a comprehensive pedagogical approach to early years’ education. It is important for inquiry skills not to be taught in isolation, however they should be integrated into other subjects (Michalopoulou, 2014). Inquiry-based learning is deeply related to the EYLF, the history curriculum as well as creative and critical thinking. This essay will discuss inquiry based learning and how it can be positively incorporated into the history
Everyone is a part of a community. Most people are a part of multiple communities. A community is a group of people that have a commonality. Sometimes it is based on where you live, hobbies, goals, etc. I believe that communities are created unconsciously and are connected to someone’s identity, especially when a person is considered a part of multiple communities. Sometimes, a person may connect very well with their community. Sometimes, a person may feel very distant from their community. In the movie, “English Vinglish”, the main character, Sashi, shows examples on how communities are created through commonalities, and the acculturation theory. Sashi was a part of multiple communities. A few communities included her, her Daughter’s school,
Growing up learning and speaking English has been something that was difficult for me at first but then came easy, but that was not the case for my mother. She spent her whole life speaking Spanish, so when she decided to take English learning classes it was challenging. However, she had me to help her throughout her struggle. I helped her complete her homework and assignments. We would also go to the library to check out easy level reading books to have her read to me. I would correct her English when it was wrong and do all I could to boost her confidence. It took me a while to understand and figure out what the best way to teach her was, but it was a fun experience for the both of us. Teaching her English was difficult because things that
