How TV Shows Affect People
TV shows are really powerful in the period of Information era. Mass media have become an important or even vital part of human lives. This is why people cannot think of a normal living without being addicted to the TV sets where TV shows are numerous. Television seems borderless today. In this respect, human behaviors and attitudes toward life are well dictated by what is shown on TV screens. As a result, high rates of violence and criminal activity in the US can be well related to the popularity of horror and action movies among Americans today. However, there is a positive side in that people watch TV shows. The outstanding TV series Friends is all about humor and joy. Thus, watching Friends during a long period of time made its specific influences on my life.
The thing is that Friends is, of course, about friendship. On the other hand, this TV show makes people believe in another side of life spent in communication with the closest and most significant people in a person’s life. Another point is that it is a guide for people to understand some specific situation in relationships between friends that is left unnoticed in order not to offend a friend. For instance, in the episode when Rachel did not want to join Phoebe during the morning run, because Phoebe ran really funny and weird (Crane and Kauffman 1). All in all, this show is referred to the family viewing and as a good example of a real home video that is useful for both adults and children. In this respect, the cast of performers is really great. All of them are well associated with some kind of humor.

Thus, Friends is a TV show that has already impacted Americans much. It is a powerful product of mass media that is capable of changing human behaviors and attitude toward life in a positive manner. This is why it is recommended for a wide audience of viewers with no age limits at all. A happy individual is an individual whose life is full of joy and different interesting situations. Perhaps, this idea can be referred to Friends as a role model for those individuals who want to fill their lives and lives of their families with joy and happiness.
