Do you know the real reasons why most people are homeless, or in great poverty? Most people don’t really know the real reasons why most people are homeless, they just assume things and 95% of the time, they’re not true. There are many reasons why someone could be homeless, there’s multiple economic reasons why. There are so many reasons why people are homeless, and there are many homeless people in your own community. In the U.S., the number of 3.5 million is increased in people that experience being homeless each year. 35% of the population of homeless people are families with children, which is the part that grows the fastest in the homeless population. The percents of the homeless people are the following; 30% of the homeless population have experienced some type of domestic violence, 25% of the homeless population are children are under the age of 18 years old, and 20-25% of the homeless population have been suffering from mental illness, and 23% of the …show more content…

And most people think that people are homeless, because they're too lazy to do anything and if they live at the homeless shelter, they get a home and food. But in reality,the majority of people are homeless because they're in great poverty and they cannot work anywhere because of the education they had, or they have a bad record, or else they do not have good work experience so nobody wants to hire them. But for the past 20-25 years the reason why people are homeless is because they cannot afford rental housing and a simultaneous which increase in poverty a lot more than it should. Did you know, that in the Urban communities, the average of people at experience homelessness is for eight months. Homelessness and poverty are closely linked to each other.
