Analysis of Hillary Clinton’s Victory Speech with Burke’s Dramatism
Political presentations have always been one of the most important skills of politicians to convince people to believe in their own ideas. The American people who have just gone through the election year have seen countless debates and winning or failing speeches, and I believe there are many wonderful contents worth trying to analyze and discuss with rhetoric.
Although the presidential campaign results disappointed most people, we could not deny that the failed loser Hillary Clinton is really defeated, and each of her speeches is a good example of political speeches. In the late presidential election debate, Hillary was interfered with by some external factors, but she was never at a disadvantage. The content of the essay for this article was published by

Eight years ago, she quit the presidential campaign to support Obama; eight years later, she made people finally understand her Political ideals as female politician who active in the United States politics more than 40 years, and rewrite the history of the United States, that is Hillary Clinton became the first female candidate in the history of the United States to obtain a majority vote in the main political party. In her speech, Hillary Clinton first thanked volunteers, social activists, organizers and voters who supported her campaign to express respect and gratitude to the party's colleague Sandra. At the same time, she criticized the biggest political opponent Donald Trump and his political proposition contrary to the United States mainstream values. She praised those voters who keep America dream, working hard for the "a better, fairer, strong America" , stressed the equality, justice, freedom of the American spirit once
In response to his alleged affair with Ms. Monica Lewinsky, who at the time was an intern at the White House, President Clinton took to a national broadcast to clear his name. In his testimony, Clinton begins with a formal and slightly apologetic tone, and then subtly shifts the blame from his actions to the nosiness of the American public, victimizing himself. There were four different tone shifts in this particular speech, and he uses this to his advantage in turning the spotlight away from his private life, and to national issues. In his address, President Clinton uses a wide variety of rhetorical devices to convince his audience, the American people, that his stance on the matter is the most valid, and to reestablish his credibility,
To summarize this analysis, Hillary Clinton shows us how as we unite, the stronger our bond is. She uses clever ways to show this action. Though she did not win this presidential election, she is still loved by many. She helped herself because of the way she wrote and persuaded people to join her. Using rhetorical appeals
Hillary Rodham Clinton is a well-recognized woman in the United States. Her great contribution as secretary of State impact people’s lives. One of many remarkable speeches Hillary gave was the “The women rights speech”, in the 4th World Conference on Women Plenary Session where she uses strong words and emotions to appeal the audience. Even though the speech talks about women rights, she wants everyone, including men and children to listen and take action. Her use of ethos, logos and pathos throughout the speech made the audience believe in her words.
This is a credible article; it seems that it is researched thoroughly and thoughtfully. Overall this article highlights my topic fairly well, and did meet my expectations; the author’s conclusion ended strong and summarizes the article greatly. Still, this article is not much different than my other twelve articles with the exclusion of one. In this article and others not all sources have different points of view and only one has done that.
The goal of Hillary’s speech is to persuade her audience that her ideas are valid, by using ethos, pathos, and logos. Hillary is the First Lady and Senator, she shows credibility as an influential activist for woman rights. “Over the past 25 years, I have worked persistently on issues relating to women, children, and families. Over the past two and a half years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about the challenges facing women in my country and around the world” (Clinton 2).
Overall, Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a convincing speech on women’s rights at the U.N. World Conference by using the key rhetorical techniques ethos, pathos, logos, and anaphora’s. The use of these techniques helped the audience believe in the cause of which Clinton was speaking about, sympathize for situations females were being put through, and working to strive towards equal rights for everyone. Clinton used the same stance throughout her speech and raised her voice at points in her speech that needed
In the course of this essay I shall be looking at the role of the

If a statement attempts to persuade the audience by making a reasonable claim and offering proof in support of that claim. In my opinion, the best logos moment for Clinton is when she claim ¨ So you gotta ask yourself — why won 't he release his tax returns? And I think there may be a couple of reasons. First, maybe he is not as rich as he says he is. Second, maybe he 's not as charitable as he claims to be. Third, we don 't know all of his business dealings but we have been told through investigative reporting that he owes about $650 million dollars to Wall Street and foreign banks. Or maybe he does not want the American people, all of you watching tonight…¨ this was a useful tool to make people doubt about Trump honesty and integrity. Trump had a good logos argument with the Iran deal. ¨This is one of the worst deals ever made by any country in history. The deal with Iran will lead to nuclear problems. All they have to do is sit back 10 years and they don 't have to do much. And they 're going to end up getting nuclear.¨ both of the candidates have ups and downs in the debate. We can compare and contrast both of the candidates from the words they express, since being a president words
Some people believe her values are “a result of having lived through the depression” (Harris 673). She has seen the worst and hopes to make things better for her people. As a child, Clinton was “earning merit badges in girl scouts and starring in the girls softball league” (Harris 674). She has always believed women were smart and strong. Earning badges and playing sports might not seem like much, but it taught a young Clinton that women can do anything they set their mind to. Clinton went off to college and met her husband Bill Clinton there. As the couple got older, Bill decided he wanted to run for president. Hillary “went to Indiana to coordinate the campaign” (Harris 678) for Bill. From the start to the end of Bill’s presidency, Hillary was “extremely active in government affairs” (Hurley 204). She “[emphasized] the need for a global feminist agenda” (Hurley 204-205). Even though Bill was the president, Hillary applied herself as if she were the president. She encouraged equality for genders. Her speech “Women’s Rights Are Human Rights” was given right in the middle of Bill’s presidency. She used her economic power to create awareness of the gender inequality in the
This year's presidential election, the main candidates being Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, will go down in history. As a Democrat that held plenty of political and professional positions, Clinton has the experience to run the country. In Hillary Clinton's statement speech, it describes the actions that Clinton will take in order to strengthen the United States. It appeals to the audience, the citizen's of the United States of America, on their values of unity, current problems of society, and how they'll work together to accomplish this, in order to make them hopeful and to get them to vote for Clinton. To begin with, at the start of the statement, Clinton appeals to the audience about their value of unity to make them hopeful for the future of the United States.
This article hasn’t provided an introduction; however a lengthy summary of the study which identifies the problem, purpose and rationale for the research study has been provided in the background. The introduction should give the reader a general sense of what the document is about, and preferably persuade the reader to continue reading. This prepares the reader for reading the rest of the document (Burns & Grove, 2001 p.636; Nieswiadomy, 2008 p.380; Stockhausen and Conrick, 2002).
She was able to deliver such an exceptional speech because of her knowledge and credibility on the topic. Clinton is a woman and frequently has to deal with her own right to be treated as equal to men. Politics is viewed as a man 's job, viewing women as though they cannot do as good of a job as men. Clinton has also traveled the women talking to many women about the struggles they encounter, “Over the past 25 years, I have worked persistently on issues relating to women, children, and families. Over the past two and a half years, I 've had the opportunity to learn more about the challenges facing women in my own country and around the world” (Clinton). The Women’s rights battle is an important topic for Clinton. She was able to see, first hand, mothers fighting for healthcare, education, food, and safer housing and town for themselves and their children. By adding her own experience and knowledge on top of the heartbreaking facts and struggles of women makes this speech even more
Many Americans are beginning to wonder who will run as the Democratic candidate for the next president of the United States. Since the 2008 election, one particular name has been the topic of conversation around most media outlets and households across the county. With over one million supporters who believe in her abilities to lead, Hillary Clinton possesses the qualities that meet the leadership criteria that would help her to become the leader of the free world. I choose to research Hillary Clinton because I admire the drive and passion she puts into her work. She is a unique global leader whose activism has promoted social change around the world.
After withdrawing from the presidential election she became less visible and played a more traditional First Lady (“Hillary” The Biography.com Website). Being a more traditional First Lady was not like Clinton. She had always been one of those women who stood out from the rest. She was a former U.S. senator, a lawyer, and a candidate for president. She loved her work. She loved help fighting for children and doing work as a senator, so when she withdrew from the presidential election it wasn’t because that was what she wanted. Her tragic flaw took a toll on her life. Dealing with all the reporters, new stories, and criticism got to her. She wasn’t quite ready to be a president yet. Even though she was dealing with personal problems she didn’t decide to just quit one day. Clinton took a gradual fall. It took some time for her to decide whether she really wanted to withdraw or not because once you’re out you’re done. She went from having a lot of power to losing it all. Dealing with problems are hard, not everyone has the strength to do it, but Clinton’s perseverance and hard work helps her push through it all and beat
