I did do one super crazy thing in high school, I mean it wasn’t like why did you do that? Anyways, in high school we had a tradition that has been around for as long as I can remember. It occurs during homecoming week, the upperclassmen specifically juniors and seniors did this activity that was more or less accepted amongst the community. We went around teepeeing houses of students, we weren’t allowed to do anyone else's house. I mean we forked a teachers house but that isn’t really bad we didn’t get in trouble and we went to clean it up the next day. He thought it was funny, so he let us get away with it. The first night of homecoming my senior year a group of students decided that they should be able to do more than teepeeing. They decided to take that wonderful tradition that we’ve had since before my parents went to high school, and destroy it. They went a step too far and went egging houses and cars of non students. Which in turn ended up making a curfew for students and forcing the police to get involved. The town was off limits, but they said nothing about the countryside. On a night that I can’t exactly remember the day of, two of my …show more content…
We decided to try to cut our time down by cutting through the field. Not a big deal right, not like anything is going to happen. We get to halfway through the corn field when the dog at the farmers house, starts barking after hearing us talking and laughing. Immediately, we all shut up and stop hoping the dog will be quiet. Next thing we hear is the slamming of a door, and the sudden fear creeps through us. A roar of an engine of a four wheeler and a truck is heard as the farmers head to go look for something in the corn field. Of course at this point we are scared out our minds and get down as a flashlight scans the towering corn. We start to crawl in the direction of the road, taking it slowly so they can’t hear or see
According to the people the elk and deer were plentiful in the Black Hills, it was late and the hunters decided to make camp in a secluded narrow path, before they went to sleep they prepared their weapons. While they were all sleeping a giant snake encircled the camp, one of the hunter woke up at first he thought he was dreaming; so he closed his eye and opened them again realizing it was real he woke the other hunters. Neither of the hunters has ever seen such a huge snake. It all seemed like a bad dream to them; they were huddled together in confusion deciding on what they were going to do next. They finally came to a decision that they would jump over it. They gathered their stuff and threw it over first, then youngest to oldest they jumped next. Except the youngest one was afraid to jump first so he let the others go before him. At last the youngest hunter jumped he got halfway over when the snake lifted its head. The hunter landed on the ground, he was unconscious and the snake just looked at him. When the young hunter, woke the snake left, the young hunter had told them what the snake said; some hunters thought he was just messing around but others believe him. The snake told that they are to travel north to east, until they come to Flat River. Then they are to follow it into a low valley. Once they find a single lodge with a red door. They are going to the door they will
Finally, the awful silence radiated throughout the land. Everyone knew by then, if not before, that any chance for a reprieve was impossible. The young men would die, and the village would be saved. Only the sound of the loud, heavy truck starting its engine gave thought that perhaps this would not be the last carnage, the last sacrifice to this village, or the neighboring villages. Perhaps the big, lumbering truck would forever hold the watchful eyes of those evil enough to order the massacre of innocence.
Principal Hoagland cancel prom, in Kellenberg Memorial High School, in Uniondale, New York. The reason was because parents were planning on spending $1,000 on prom dresses, tuxedos and immoral activities, after prom for teenagers; immoral activities that involved drinking and sexual activities. These immoral situations can lead teens to bad things like lose control of themselves and teen pregnancy, which can cause complaints against the school. Also because it 's a Catholic School, I also agree with Hoagland on cancelling prom to avoid immoral. But at I also disagree with not having a prom for the school.

The facts of the case are as follows :On Thursday, October 31st, a pagan gathering took place at Jaycee Park in Backhouse, Wisconsin. The gathering in question was the Eighth Annual Pagan Pride Day, an event which works to build community awareness and religious tolerance. The event, which consisted of an estimated 400 people, lasted from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and offered a variety of products for purchase, as well as tents set up for discussions, demonstrations, and food. Shortly after October 31st, an unofficial student club at Backhouse High School, Modern American Druids, filed a Facilities Use Request with the Backhouse High School administration to use an area of the front lawn know as “the rock”. “The rock” is an area that contains the school’s flagpole, as well as a boulder, which is a widely known symbol of school pride. The area is visible from the school’s front driveway and parking lot. The Facilities Use Request was filed by the Modern American Druids faculty advisor, Earthrid Maskull, a social studies teacher and self-proclaimed Druid priest. In the Facilities Use Request, Earthrid Maskull indicated that the use of “the rock” would be a prayer ceremony that overlapped with Samhain, the Druid holiday that translates to the ‘Dark Days of November’, and would last from 7:00 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. on Friday, November 8th. The Druid prayer ceremony would consist of an unknown number of teachers and students, and invitations to participate in the ceremony were sent by Maskull to all high school staff. Additionally, members of Modern American Druids, using ...
At our pep rally we all just kind of stood in shock for a while, then the fun started. We all “moved up”, the freshmen walked over to the sophomore spot, the sophomores to the junior spot, the juniors to the senior spot, and the seniors just all walked out. It was a very eventful day and it probably could not have gone better. The biggest plot twist of all time happened, as well as the biggest drug addict and rudest person of Mount Juliet got arrested with two
You wake up at 7:10am on a Monday morning, well rested and very alert. You get out of bed, brush your teeth and scarf down some breakfast before heading for school. The walk to your school is just a flight of stairs, leading to your room. As you walk inside your room, your eyes fall towards a complex, yet comfortable looking chair, with a wire connected to a nearby outlet. You sit down casually and the headrest of the chair envelopes your head. In an instant, you are whisked away to a place very familiar to you, Tesla Stem High School. As you approach your group of friends, they catch you eye and wave at you. Above their heads, you can read their name, and grade in a font of their own choosing. One of your friends wanted to mess with a substitute teacher and had
Approaching the giant barn the small boy is trying to duck down and make sure he is obscure so the owners of the farm would see him, while they were sitting down having family dinner. “This is the perfect place to hide out until the rain stops,” the boy says to himself. But the rain never stopped, it rained and rained and rained for two days straight. The young boy was worried if the owners of the farm would come out and find him on the loft in the silo and believe that he was a malefactor and was here to steal their tools to sell.
...the wood for movement, looking for the slightest movement that will indicate the presence of some animal, maybe a deer walking through the woods feeding, or maybe a squirrel on its never-ending hunt for food. At 8:45 I get up and walk to my brother; the cold weather has found its way into my body through my many layers of clothes. I walk ever so silently hoping to find a deer over the hill, or in some alders eating. I see nothing but when I get to my brother he tells me I pushed five deer right past him.
It was over Thanksgiving break, and my friend Katie was having a party; actually, a three day party, to be exact. Her parents were out of town and it seemed like she invited the whole school. Everywhere you walked inside the house you had to hold your beer over your head because there was a good chance it would get knocked out of your hand otherwise. All of my friends were there, celebrating our four day “freedom” from school. Everyone drank and laughed and danced, and I’m pretty sure we were smoking some funny things. If I had to guess, I would say that there were about two hundred people there at a time. The first night passed without incident, everyone peacefully coexisting; the second night got a little rowdy when kids from our rival school showed up and tried to crash the party; the third night was just pure stupidity.
He looks to his left. The tall grass blowing in the warm summer breeze hits the side of his cheek and he squints. In the distance, he spots a peculiar scene. A large field over a hill with what could be thousands of sunflowers shines in the summer sun. His eyes close and he breathes in the sweet smell of the midsummer air. He notices that in the middle of that field stands a giant scarecrow. A puzzled look came across his face, realizing that the scarecrow had not been there before he had closed his eyes. He runs with anticipation toward the bright yellow field. While he is running, the scarecrow seems to stare him down. Every step he takes, he feels more and more fear boil within him.
One day my friends and I thought it would be a great idea to have a sleepover. We all agreed to call it purge night because we wanted to watch The Purge and The Purge Anarchy. While we were at school we started planning out what we were going to do, eat, and whose house it was going to be at. This sleepover took two weeks to plan it! So once we had planned it all out, it was time to ask our parents if we could go to the sleepover. But when I asked my mom asked my mom, she said no. I was very upset! Because not only did the sleepover, take forever to plan out, but the fact that I couldn't go while everyone else did drove me crazy. So once the sleepover had passed it was Monday and all they did was talk about it. They kept rubbing
