1. Cold Method (Using ICE):

Do you have a hickey you want to get rid of? Just treat it like a regular bruise. You can freeze the blood vessels with ice. This will keep blood from going into the bruise which will keep the bruise mark to a minimum. Using ice is the quickest way to make a hickey disappear, just use a cold compress like an ice pack to minimize the bleeding and make the mark disappear. However, this methods only works if the hickey is new.
Use ice in a towel and press it on the hickey for as long as you can take it. For the first day or 2 you will need to repeat this process frequently. Again this method works well but you have to apply the ice right after getting the hickey.

Once the hickey is fully formed, the only thing left to be done is for the blood to be absorbed back into the skin. Heat increases blood flow, which breaks the hickey apart quicker. The mark will disappear quicker than if it was left to heal naturally. It is also important to use heat safely as it can also lead to burns. Never use heat that is too much for the skin and if it is painful remove the heat source immediately.
One option is to soak a towel in hot water, not boiling water. This method only works if the hickey has been set for at least 2 days. Keep this in mind, cold method for fresh hickeys and heat method for hickeys that are at least a few days old.

3. Rub Alcohol:
If your love bite is only a few hours old, rubbing alcohol on it is another great treatment. All you need is some alcohol on a cotton ball and rub on and around the hickey for a few minutes.
