The Hero Twins, Hunahpu and Xbalanque, had heard what happened to the Four Hundred Boys and decided to exact revenge upon Zipacna for their deaths. This was also part of the Hero Twins goal to bring down the arrogant gods of the Maya. The twins devised an elaborate plan in which to trick and trap Zipacna. They fabricated an elaborate faux crab and then concealed it deep within a canyon. Afterwards they went to the beach and sought out Zipacna, who was hunting for his usual favorite food, crabs. Zipacna was famished and had been unsuccessful in finding any crabs all day. The Hero Twins approached him and told him a very large crab that they'd seen in a canyon. They guided Zipacna to the canyon where they'd seen the alleged crab. With him being so hungry, he wasn't able to see through their ruse and followed them to the canyon. Once again, the Hero Twins relied on their wits to devise a plan. Cabrakan, like his father and brother, was very proud and arrogant. The Twins decided to use this very arrogance against him. They sought him out and then boasted about a great mountain they'd seen which continued to grow and grow. Cabrakan was very proud of his ability to bring down mountains. When he heard the Hero Twin speak of this great mountain, as they predicted, he demanded that they show him this mountain. The Hero Twins, Hunahpu and Xbalanque were happy to oblige and escorted Cabrakan on a journey to the mountain (which did not even exist). Being the skillful hunters that they were, the Twins shot down several birds along the way. Following through with their plan, they stopped and roasted the birds over a fire and played on Cabrakan's hunger. Just as they predicted, being hungry and smelling their food, he asked them for some
They talk to their dad and he tells them that he worked with a man called Lice Pecking. Since there are many boats docked in the harbors its impossible to see what boat the waste is actually coming from. They then get the idea to color the waste with a very bright dye and allow after us seeps out the trail of brightly colored water will be tracked back to dusty’s boat. They then go into a food store and purchase 35 bottles of Fuchsia dye. They then tell Shelly their plan. They tell her that Noah will hide in a box full of rum and wait till it is picked up and placed on the ship he then will go into a restroom and Shelly will tack on an out of order sign.

Peak had another boy named Sun-Jo who joined Peak throughout the journey. Sun- Jo was younger than Peak and instead of Peak being the youngest person to summit the mountain, he decided to let his younger new friend Sun-Jo who was always with Peak helping and willing to help go first, to let him become the youngest person to reach the top. Peak’s gratitude toward Sun-Jo really made me think about how the things that you do for other people can benefit you as a person in the future. In this book, that decision gave Sun-Jo the title, fame, and money. These two characters, Peak and Melba were similar and had to use the same traits to help them reach their goals. With persistence, hard work, and grit, Peak made it to the top, achieving his goal. These character traits that the two characters had really made me realize how important they are to have in your lifestyle. I think that I have benefitted from reading these two books and I have learned how to never stop working hard and being generous to others because those things will benefit you in the

They head off to Iceland, and, along the way, receive Hans as their guide. The journey to the mountain itself takes a while. They reach the entrance to the center, and from there, they head inside. Once in the dark labyrinths, they descend (this goes on for days). The three men then face difficulties: thirst, light, getting lost, injuries, and fatigue, were among them.
But, as the babies were drifting down the river, their basket snagged onto a fig tree, and a she-wolf heard the boys crying. Instead of eating them, however, she suckled them. One day, a shepherd had found the boys, and took them in as his own. The boys grew up with the shepherd and learned of their true identity. Knowledge of their heroic status pushed the boys to march to Alba Longa, and slay Amulius. Joined by Numitor’s followers as a militia, they killed Amulius in battle, and Numitor had control once again. The twins, exhausted, decided to found a city nearby and rest. It was then that the brothers began to disagree. Romulus wanted to found the city on one hill, while Remus wanted to found it on another. They both split, building their own, and one day, Remus came over to Romulus’s city. He jumped over the base of his wall, and because this was a bad omen (jumping over the base meant it would easily be sacked and destroyed, and was bad luck), Romulus killed his brother Remus (Blohm). From then on, everyone helped to complete Romulus’s newly founded city Roma (Carvazzi).
The boys then go out to explore and find a tall vantage point. They discover that they are on an island and there is no sign of civilization. The boys start to head back towards the beach when they come upon a pig that is caught in a bush. Jack comes forward with his knife drawn, but he doesn’t kill the pig. The pig escapes, but Jack swears that next time he will kill the pig with no problem. The boys keep moving back towards the beach where all of the other boys are waiting to greet them back.
The Popol Vuh is a story that should be examined carefully, as it can show the culture and the myths of the Mayan people. The story involves two sets of twins. First introduced is the second set of twins: Hunahpu and Xbalanque. The second set of twins introduced is the boys’ father and uncle. The boys learned that their father and uncle were great ball players, so they decided to use their genetic skills to see if they had the same gift. However, the sound of the ball game reached the underworld, where the Lords of Xibalba called upon them for a ball game. The twins ended up having to endure many magical tests, but with the help of stories from their father and uncle, they knew exactly how to pass. However, in one of the tests, Hunahpu stretched his neck to see outside, but he lost his head resulting in the boys losing the game. The Lords invited Xbalanque to play ball with Hunahpu’s head and in the middle of the game Xbalanque and a rabbit were able to sneakily replace the ball (Hunahpu’s head) with a fake.
