Dear Reader, First, the reason I chose this topic is, I finished reading the fourth, fantasy novel in the Harry Potter series. The book was so exceedingly inspiring, I thought it was a good idea if I did my topic, the Magic of Harry Potter. Plus, due to over 600 million copies, as well as a positive influence on movies, Harry Potter has impacted my friends and family members. Also, none of my peers seemed like they would do this as their topic, maybe because they think they already know and others know what an amazing job J.K. Rowling did for inspiring addictive reading. In 2004, there was a Harry Potter phenomenon and the juvenile literature rate increased every year. I learned that in 2012, a study found that 55 percent of young adult novels were bought by adults! Adults were reading novels targeted at children, and that was a game changer. Finally, I learned that the Harry Potter franchise pushed for more books to be adapted into movies. This trend continues in movies today. For example, Twilight (2008) and The Chronicles of Narnia (2005) are triumphant in the fantasy of the Harry Potter footsteps. Harry Potter s intention had a positive influence on everything, maybe even a legacy. How I made the choices for my Informative was, I pondered to myself what it would be like in earlier times when the Harry Potter franchise first came out, I thought about creating this into a magazine. Second, for my narrative, I thought to myself about doing the element I like most in writing, composing a story. Eventually, for my argumentative, I thought to myself, of how Harry Potter was innovative compared to other series. In conclusion, Harry Potter impacted movies, adults, and kids. It leads to books being turned into movies, kids painting a better portrayal of literature in their heads, and adults having a go at fantasy
