Happiness
Life is not about waiting for a perfect moment, but simply finding happiness in every single day. Sometimes it can be really hard to choose one path among different life choices. All you need is to stop looking for the best alternative and make the best of everything you have. Every person is the architect of his own future. Only great effort, self-confidence and the ability to see beauty everywhere will help to write the bestseller of your life. Do not pursue great intentions, but simply try to find your own journey of happiness. If you open your heart to happiness, one day it will come knocking at your door.
For me happiness is a state of mind. Only I can choose whether to be anxious about every simple thing in life or to seize the moment and enjoy it to the fullest. I cannot foresee the future and thus have always tried to focus on the present. Though my life does not resemble the spacefaring I dreamt about in my childhood, I do not take it for granted and instead luxuriate in every new day. The various problems along the road do not scare me and do not indicate that I am travelling on a wrong path. Sometimes even solving a difficult task or overcoming a complicated challenge can make me happy and satisfied. In my opinion,

I believe this is the real key to happiness. I can find happiness in ordinary routine days. First of all, being in the company of other people makes me really happy. I appreciate time spent with my family and friends most of all. These precious moments of innocent jokes, friendly atmosphere or frank conversations cannot be compared with anything. Secondly, such simple things as going hunting or working out at the gym will always warm my heart. I do not dream about becoming a millionaire, as money will never make me happy. However, I have a purpose in life and will try to pursue it
As a child, I would play the “dream” game with my friends. We would spot a nice car and claim it as ours, walk by a nice house and say “I will live in that type of house one day with my family”. I cannot tell a lie, to this day, I say that to myself. After all, who doesn’t long for financial stability and some of the strain of life’s stress it eases. All of these comforts are nice to desire but that it not what defines me.
Happiness can come in many different ways for people. For me, my Pursuit of Happiness is doing what you love and living your life to your expectations. Over this unit of American Literature we have studied The Great Gatsby the characters looked to others for their happiness. In Of Mice and Men The characters did what made others happy instead of themselves and also looked to simple things for happiness. Although in Ain't I a Woman Sojourner Truth did what made her happy even if everyone was against her. If you are doing
In order to achieve happiness, one should do what makes them happy such as trying to make their dream come true or spending time with their loved ones. The main character Santiago from “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, obtained happiness by following his dream and finding new companionship during his journey. Furthermore in the article “In the Pursuit of Unhappiness” by Darrin Mcmahon describes some things people do in order to be happy. Despite the high expectations to achieve happiness, one should follow their dreams and be with the ones you love.
You could also achieve happiness by spending time with their loved ones and making them smile. Have you ever made someone smile and felt so good by just doing that? Well it is a great feeling seeing the people you love smiling, Or perhaps you were there for a friend that was sad and you cheered them up and afterwards felt so good? Well that is happiness. Happiness is making others happy.
What is Happiness? Well that’s a question that everyone asks to themselves. Happiness is not something that you can trade; it’s honestly what people find. They want happiness and want to know they will always be happy. But Happiness is like air and water it is a hard emotion to grab on to in one’s hand. How do you know you have happiness? Can you feel it? Does it just happen? These are questions everyone wants a answer to.
So, release unhappiness and consume happiness. Bye, bye unhappiness, hello happiness. Typically many are consumed by ‘miswanting’ – making decision based on what we think will make us happy (e.g., a new car or home). Now, researchers go one step further to tell us where happiness resides for most of us, as consumers. One study about consumption vs. happiness finds that people are more happy when they spend money on ‘experience’ (travel) instead of material objects (new TV set). The enjoyable experience is what they typically relish. The finding is that spending money for an experience – travel, concerts, or outing, for example – produce longer-lasting satisfaction than spending money on same old plain stuff, TV, car, etc. – especially one

Happiness is a feeling that humans naturally desire. Without it, one feels incomplete. In this generation, happiness has taken on a definition by how we are presented to one another. It is measured by how much money we have, how famous we are, or the things we possess. When in reality, none of these things guarantee a happy life. Happiness is something that cannot be bought with money, but rather, it must be found, earned, sought after. Each and every one of us has our own list of things that we consider to make us happy. However, happiness shines brightest through the relationships we create, and the goals we make for ourselves to strive after. Along with these two essential sources, we then can mix and match those things in life that we enjoy to create our own unique formula for happiness.

Success and happiness are typically seen as two ideas that are dependent on each other. People often believe that in order to be happy one must have a successful life. When reading about success, most of the time people stumble upon happiness bringing success. People have this typical idea of success being money, power, and a luxurious lifestyle with a promising future and a pinch of happiness. However, there will never be a universal explanation as to what success and happiness are because it’s different for every person. In order for someone to feel successful, one must learn how both happiness and success work together. People need to get over the idea of succeeding and achieving goals in order to be content and focus more on being happy with themselves.
How could I promote happiness? Of course by beginning with myself. The saying, “10 percent is what happens to us and 90 percent is how we react with it” is one of my favorite. I may not be able to control what will happen to me, but surely, I always have the power over my emotions. In every circumstance, whether it may be good or bad, I must always keep those smiles plastered in my face. I must be thankful to God in whatever things happen for I know He’s always in control of everything.
Happiness is a feeling that cannot be broken if strong enough, no matter how much sadness or hate is around you. Happiness can come from the smallest thing, for instance, music makes me happy and can easily change my mood, or when I am doing something I love my mood is easily changed. For others it could be whenever you do something well, or right and get recognition for it. It is the easiest feeling to be spread and given out but often neglected and forgotten about which is something we should all be more aware
