It was a cold, dark night, but this was not any night, tonight was Halloween. Every year my whole family goes to me Uncle Tom’s house for Halloween, to us Halloween is not just a night for trick or treating, no it's a night for scaring people. For Halloween my Uncle decorations his how extremely to try to make it the scariest on the block. He has all different animatronics, fog machines, and props to try and deck out his front yard. The decorations are not the only thing we use, in addition to those members of my family dress up and go out and scare the kids.

With clouds in the sky all moonlight was blocked out with the only light coming from people's houses. This Halloween was the first year I was out scaring trick or treaters coming to my uncle's house. I at first I just walked around his small grass plot for a front yard trying to scare trick or treaters by walking up to them and growling. I was just thinking of how stupid I must of seemed, walking around growling like a dog, what were people thinking about me? With walking around not work I decided to do something else, I hid in the thick bushes that were planted along the walkway up to the house. I would stay totally still hiding in the bushes until someone came up and then I would pop out at them. This worked perfectly with almost everyone I popped out at got scared, some we just startled and others screamed and went running. Finally, I was scaring people, I thought, now people could think I was stupid because now I was getting the best of them making them feel dumb for being afraid of a seven year
