I identified three top-rated hair salons for each immigrant population in cities where they are prevalent. They include Hair 101, Haiier Hair Salon, and Xingyu Hair Salon in Queens, New York; Hair by Julianne Cho, Lux Hair Salon, and M Hair & Beauty Salon in Los Angeles, California; and Mandy's Hair & Spa, Felicia Michelle Hair, and Sanela's Beauty Salon in Bronx, New York. Details can be found in rows 8 - 10 of the attached spreadsheet.

METHODOLOGY
I utilized the Migration Policy Institute which made use of data from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2012-2016 American Community Survey to gather the number of immigrants in each county of each state in the U.S. I selected three immigrant groups that aren't already on the spreadsheet, as well as, …show more content…

To verify that these salons are indeed popular within the immigrant groups, I went through reviews and their descriptions on Yelp. They are all either owned by or speak a language associated with the immigrant population.

CHINESE HAIR SALONS IN QUEENS, NY

There are 162,200 Chinese immigrants in Queens, NY. The hair salons they frequent are:
Hair 101: 57 reviews on Yelp and a 5-star rating.
Xingyu hair salon: 146 reviews on Yelp and a 4.5-star rating.
Haiier hair salon: 215 reviews on Yelp and a 4.5-star rating.
