Have you been in search of a television show that is appropriate for all ages and is about saving lives? If so, Greys Anatomy is the show to watch. In the television show Greys Anatomy, Meredith Grey serves as a positive role model through courage, intelligence, and leadership, while working in and outside of Seattle Grace Hospital. Each season, Meredith is faced with situations regarding patients, friends, and family. At the same time, she struggles to balance her personal life with the hectic work and training schedules. When these problems arise, she shows a tremendous amount of courage, along with intelligence, and leadership. In the show, Meredith shows courage when she performs surgeries on patients that can be risky. If calls have to be made on a surgery, Meredith has to be brave and believe in herself that she is making the right decision. When she is not at the hospital, there are moments where accidents occur and she goes out of her way to help save people. For example, in season 8, Meredith gets in a plane crash with her best friend Christina Yang, her husband Derek Shepherd, her friend Mark Sloan, and her sister Lexie Grey. Progressively, she was able to memorize all the procedures and gained more knowledge from them. In one particular episode, she was awarded the Harper Avery Award for her valiant efforts, to successfully complete a surgery that had never been done before. This award goes to show how intelligent Meredith is and how she tries anything to save a patient's life. One of the many characteristics she improves upon, through the years, is intelligence.
