Humorous Wedding Speech By A Nurse

Let me start off first by thanking our friends and family for being here to join us tonight for this momentous occasion. I wish to express my appreciation to the instructors that taught us and shared their skills and knowledge to help start us on the path of our nursing career. I wish to express my deep gratitude to my family for their love and support. I know that each of us has someone at home that motivated and gave encouragement to keep working and do the best that we could. I also know that our families at home often sacrificed more than we did so we could attend this nursing program. Thank you.
When I began this journey I knew that Nursing was all I wanted to do and in order to succeed and do well in nursing school, it was going to require a ton of devotion and sacrifice. Nursing school did not come without its challenges, not only did we have to deal with going to class, clinicals, studying for exams, but we also had to add in the factors of jobs, family, marriages, children, sickness and our daily life. But our instructors encouraged us and pushed us to keep going, and for that we are grateful because we all made a decision to stick with it, and here we are today. It seems unimaginable that just a year ago this journey was just beginning, but here we are today a year later,

This is one of the values that is of the utmost importance when being a nurse. We must have compassion for our patients. We as nurses will make an impact every single day in the lives of people in our community. We need to realize that we are the voice of the voiceless and the advocates for those who cannot advocate for themselves. You realize that even by helping one person, you are making a difference and are making the world a better place one patient at a time. Some of us may enter the field and some of us may be continuing on in our education, but we all share one thing in common, we are all nurses and we all made
