Since I was little, I have always loved the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series. One of my favorite characters in the book is Greg Heffley. He is an important character in the book and he is very interesting. Greg and his best friend go on many exciting adventures. They have many characteristics that make them very helpful and inspiring people. Although, we have some differences, we still have lots of similarities. My friend told me about the book and told me that I should be related to Greg because we are just alike. Some of the similarities we share are being trustworthy, understanding, and adventurous. To begin with, one characteristic we share is being trustworthy. Greg is very loyal to his friends. He does not go behind their …show more content…
He does not judge others for their differences. He is very respectful to those around him just like I am. We are both very caring and give great advice. We are both very friendly in our own ways. We are both strong willed people and we do not go against our word. We are both very helpful and take others feelings into consideration. He always is very positive and kind like I am. How can two people who are very different share similarities? Dally and Johnny, two greasers from S. E. Hinton’s novel The Outsiders, have distinct differences as well as similarities. They are similar because they both know what it is like to have abusive and neglectful parents. Also, they both care about each other in similar ways. Dally and Johnny are completely different when it comes to the law. Dally is the least law abiding in the gang, where as Johnny is the most. Dally and Johnny are dissimilar when they die. Dally dies a hoodlum, which is vast difference from how Johnny dies a hero. Therefor, Dally and Johnny have a lot in common, but also have great differences.
Finally, the last similarity was being great at writing. Both authors were able to show strong
When comparing the characters in the book to real people, it is not hard to see the similarities.
For example Kate and Kat were similar as their both independent and intelligent individuals who go by their own morals and don't care what anyone else thinks of them. Bianca in both texts is seen as the object of desire' as of her submissive manner and good looks. I used similarities like these ones all throughout 10 things' with only making minor changes.

Greg is a socially restricted character who resists emotional involvement and completely lacks self-confidence. He is rather a flat character which means that he does not develop significantly throughout the clip. However, he is a very important character in the film because he does not reveal much about himself. This makes the storyline more genuine than it would be with a confident main character. What makes Greg interesting is the fact that despite being a misfit he has an

We also shared a few similarities, at least in the area of interests. Typically impulsive, Fred, upon learning that I rode a motorcycle more than a car, had gone out and bought a brand new one for himself. And I guess we were both builders, of a sort. He was down to the nagging little finishing detail...
One similarity between Craig and myself would be that we both have depression. In the novel, It’s Kind of a Funny Story, Craig displays multiple times his depression by nearly killing himself and having to be checked into a mental hospital. For example, in the beginning of the story, Craig said, “Its so hard to talk when you want to kill
