Living in the Faroe Islands means that you have experienced Greenpeace in action.
It also means that your opinion regarding Greenpeace is not as positive as it might have been, without the influence of your fellow countrymen. “Credit, where credit's due”. Greenpeace has done a magnificent work when it comes to preserving our environment, even though their methods are questionable and sometimes rude and immoral. Islands, where pilot whale hunting has been the subject, we know them and their methods of argumentation to be detestable. Pictures and video-recordings were manipulated with and information, that we can only laugh at, were feeded to the public. The questionable procedures that have been used in the campaigns against the Faroe Islands however is not a general perspective of Greenpeace and their actions. But the keyword for Greenpeace and what is common for almost every venture that Greenpeace takes, is that they are active. Greenpeace does not believe in bureaucracy, and is that something that we should respect. Taking on a action for Greenpeace sometimes means that you have to break the law or at least bend it a little. In USA where they protested against some factories which deliberately lead their toxic waste to lakes nearby, Greenpeace sealed the pipes, from which the toxic waste was coming from and furtermore the activists refused to leave. The environment and the health of the surrounding population go hand in hand. The Environmental Protection Agency takes on this ever so important mission of protecting them both. The mission statement of the EPA states, “The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Small Business Programs is to support the protection of human health and the environment by advocating and advancing the business, regulatory, and environmental compliance concerns of small and socio-economically disadvantaged businesses, and minority academic institutions (US Enviromental Protection Agency, 2010).” The impact of its mission can be defined clearly as it examines the impact of contamination in the air, the water, and the land on human health.
The hardships of the Great Depression of the early part of the twentieth century lead to many drastic decisions by our countries leaders on how to deal with the problem. Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President of the United States at the time, decided to infiltrate the country with government money to create jobs and better the country as a whole. The Civilian corps">Conservation Corps, or CCC created many of these jobs.
Judaism and Christianity relate more to each other than any other two religions. Known by many, the son of God himself was a practicing Jew. Jesus’s twelve disciples practice Judaism even his family took part in practicing Judaism. Jewish people like Christians’ believe that there is one God which means the Jewish religion is monotheistic. There are many other similar beliefs and ideas between the religions of Judaism and Christianity.
Every year, donors from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) give billions of dollars in foreign aid, with the United States contributing a large percentage of this sum (Eischen 2012) (Figure A). However, the amount and way in which this money is handled has given rise to heavy criticism. Books such as Dambisa Moya’s Dead Aid: Why Aid is Not Working and How There is a Better Way For Africa and the innumerable news articles lamenting the state of the corrupt bureaucracies of receiving countries not only discuss the inefficiencies of foreign aid but also accuse these programs of being harmful (Ayodele et al. 2005). One such article claimed that, due to inefficiencies and corruption, at least twenty percent of aid is completely lost (Chakraborty 2013).
Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) is an expansion of the hypothesis of contemplated activity (Ajzen and Fishbein, 1980; Fishbein and Ajzen, 1975) made vital by the first model's confinements in managing genuine practices over which individuals have fragmented volitional control. TRA works most effectively when connected to genuine practices that are under a man's volitional control. On the off chance that genuine practices are not completely under volitional control, despite the fact that a man might be profoundly energetic by her own particular demeanors and subjective standard, an individual may not really play out the real conduct because of mediating natural conditions. The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) was produced to foresee practices in which people have deficient volitional control.

The Green Party has been to make hope for more democratic, safer, cleaner world since 1984. Their American political goal decisions are made by the people and not by corporations. Their environment goals are where nature and human society is in harmony. The Green Party is the oldest, active Green organization in America. It was an organization that arose from the Green Ten Key Values which are now established by all the Greens in the United States. The Ten Key Values accurately accepted the point to a new society and way of life.
The UK Green party wants to make a government that works for the common good. They believe that in order for the people to have a properly functioning society they have to be willing to put public interest instead of private interest first. The key ideologies of the party are: an economy that works for all, secure, affordable housing, fossil free, affordable energy, and quality education, with no tuition fees (“What we stand for, 2006-20016”). The Green party is known for being very progressive towards trying to stop climate change, and is a big supporter of having a healthy and clean environment for all. Lastly, one could compare this party to the Social Democratic party, due to the similarities of their ideals.
The theory of planned behavior attempts to link health beliefs directly to behavior. Health beliefs take some time in predicting when people will change their health habits. According to Taylor a health behavior is the direct result of a behavioral intention done by the person. Behavior intentions are made up of three different components. The first one would be attitudes towards the specific action, then subjective norms regarding the action, and finally perceived behavioral control. Attitudes refers to actions that are performed and delivers outcomes, subjective norms refer to what the person believes others think they should do, and perceived behavior refers to the person acknowledging that they can perform the intended action.
For instance, in the case where a person may want to change their over-eating behavior, the various constructs of the theory can be used to predict their success in behavior change. First, the perceived benefits of portion control such as maintaining a healthy weight and reducing the risk for obesity and related conditions are likely to act as a motivation factor for me to begin better management of food portions. Second, the perceived subjective norm is favorable as portion control is accepted as a healthy behavior in society, and is likely to result to a slimmer body physique that is generally regarded as ideal. Finally, I have access to several resources, including health information, which will help me gain greater control over the behavior, thus increasing my chances of practicing better portion control in the future. Together, my beliefs with regards to portion control are likely to cause a strong intention to adopt healthy

Christians and Jews are pretty much the same people, Christians were just Jews who believed Jesus was resurrected and is truly the messiah so they followed his religious views and teachings of god, making Christianity, while Judaism is just Jews who stayed with the fact that although Jesus was a cool guy, he wasn’t the messiah and they are still waiting for the messiah. Although it may sound like they’re different, the point is Christianity and Judaism were founded by the same people and follow the same morals, but just chose to follow different religious paths. This is an important part of each religion to look at because most believe that our religious upbringings are completely different, but they truly are not. How, after looking at the facts on how Jesus’ followers and Jesus himself were Jewish, how that the religions are the same in origin but are just made of different people. That’s what people should look at, how Jesus was a Jew who just wanted people to recognize him as the messiah and follow him and his ways, to believe in him as the son of god, while Jews are people who recognized Jesus as just a prophet and there is no son of god yet, or at least truly. Foreign Aid has always been scrutinized for the fact if it is actually effective for the country receiving the aid. The stated goal of foreign aid is to reduce poverty and promote economic growth in the country. There have been mixed results with the outcomes of the countries receiving the aid.
The research methods that we will be using are: correlation, interviews and surveys, case study. In the interviews will be explaining how we will conduct the interviews and case study methods. With the interviews we will be able write detailed documentations of what interviewees say about the educational system in their university (how it helped them or did not help them, how it affected their major, and for graduates we might ask them how it was beneficial in their scripts and resumes for jobs). And by the survey we will collect, examine and then evaluate those information and opinions of the student from the AUC community. “ Foreign aid has long been one of the most unpalatable dishes on the federal plate ” (Gaouette, 2014). Developed countries have been considered to provide foreign aid for improving poor countries from misery. In addition, some rich countries give money away to help others on purposes because they expect to obtain the many benefits themselves such as growing the economy, creating more power, and having more security borders. There are many problems that may cause negative effects. For example, foreign aid can be wasted because of corruption, since it is hard to verify how how the government manage expenses. However, wealthy nations should provide foreign aid in order to decrease the number of starving population, but financial aid can be corrupted by the government, so they should give specific supplies to poor countries such as food aid, military aid, and loans.
