Climate change is when the climate is changing dramatically in time and that is caused by the greenhouse effect . greenhouse effect is when the fossil fuel is burned by humans to produces energy and when fossil fuel is burned it produces CO2 then the CO2 travels to the atmosphere and then more CO2 builds up in the atmosphere and that makes a barrier that traps the sunlight and that’s called the greenhouse effect. Usually, the sunlight stays in the earth's atmosphere for a while but then it escapes but by having more Greenhouse gases it traps it and then …show more content…
Pros are that if the earth had no greenhouse on the atmosphere all the sunlight the goes into the earth's atmosphere will escape and if it did then all plants will die because plants and trees need sunlight to grow and if the earth didn’t have any plants and trees then oxygen that is made from plants will stop making which humans can’t survive without it. If plants all die then every living thing on the plant will die in time but there are cons for greenhouse gases if humans make too much carbon dioxide then there will be too much sunlight. Living things can’t take too much of, in fact, it will start out just a sunburn then will lead to heat exhaustion that will lead to diseases like heart stroke and skin cancer and it will have a big chance of death. Greenhouse gases also cause sea level rise and it had and will be a bigger problem in the nearby future in fact
Climate change describes the changes that are happening to the planet in different countries or regions (NASA, n.d.). Climate change is caused by global warming,
Climate change is the change in the “average weather” in a specific location. This can include temperature, precipitation, wind, humidity, and the different seasons. Climate change is caused by the release of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse
Furthermore, according to US (EPA) As greenhouse gas emissions from human activities is slowly increasing, they make the world become more and more warming of the climate, causing the changes of natural system such as change in the atmosphere, land and sea. These changes will separate into both advantages and disadvantages on natural system and wildlife. This is because all kind of greenhouse gases can keep in the atmosphere at least a hundreds of years only will release all greenhouse gases and the increased warming on the climate will continuously very long times.
The Greenhouse Effect occurs when all of the heat is being trapped which involves elements like CH4, N2O, O3. But , the one thing that causes global warming is CO2 ( Schlosser). The society has to remember that not only the elements cause this change , critics are causing the climate change also. For example , fire is natural and beneficial but it can also cause the weather to change because it releases carbon monoxide , and all of that goes up into the atmosphere which can cause global change. Not only does it cause warm temperatures but it also disrupts ecosystems pushing those to extinction for those who can’t adapt. There is also the Greenhouse effect temperatures. They have been rising to about 0.8 degrees celsius. According to Dr. Schlosser , in the atmosphere, it returns about 30% of the energy in approaching sunlight and takes in about 30% at the same time.
Climate change is a change in global temperature and regional climate patterns. At the turn of the 20th century, there has been rising issues about climate change, arguing that global warming and climate change is an issue worsened by the human race. Change in climate is a natural process in which changes from season to season and even fluxuates over thousands of years. Over the time frame of the last 650,000 years there has been seven cycles of glacial advance and retreat (Global Climate Change). It could be argued that climate change is a natural process and the Earth is suppose to change its temperature from hot to cold. Yes, that is true. However, the rate in which the temperature is changing is something this Earth has never endured. In
The climate on the Earth is changing. Ice age is interleaved with the global warming. In the present age, the temperature of the Earth's climate system continue rapidly increase and it leads to global warming. Global warming is the process of gradual growth of average annual temperature of the atmosphere of the Earth and World ocean. The average temperature on the Earth was increased by 0.6C. There are various reasons of global warming, such as human activities, natural events, increasing of gases, such as carbon dioxide in atmosphere and solar activity (Global warming). Nearly 200 countries have signed Kyoto Protocol and they must reduce four greenhouse gases, in order to struggle with global warming. There are several perspectives about effects of global warming on environment. In this essay will be considered the impacts and consequences of global warming . In the process, it will be clarified that there are positive and negative impacts of global warming.
Climate is something that everywhere has. It is a big part of what makes earth livable, but it's also something that can change drastically over thousands of years. Climate is the overall temperature or conditions over a long period of time. Climate is usually confused with weather, but the are not the same thing. Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a certain place or time. Climate is the average temperature of the atmosphere over many years of time. Climate can change by greenhouse gases changing or even the shifting of tectonic plates that move the continents to different places on earth that are warmer or colder than the last spot.
If there were too much greenhouse effect, the temperature of the Earth would rise. This is what is happening right now. Large amounts of fossil fuels are being burned, releasing tons of CO2 into the air. Too much greenhouse effect would lead to ocean acidification, desertification, and rising sea levels. Plant growth would be greatly reduced. Many storms and natural disasters would become more dangerous and destructive. Our food supply
Climate change is a long-term change in regional or global climate patterns. From the mid twentieth century to now, it has mostly been about a significant increase in average global temperatures. Climate change is a major issue in the world today, and a lot of people feel very differently about the cause of it. The common argument about it is whether climate change is a natural occurrence or if the recent increase in temperatures is because of humans. Climate change is a natural cycle in the Earth’s weather. Before humans started burning fossil fuels, there were still weather cycles on Earth that were as hot or hotter than what it is now. In fact, Earth’s weather now, is on pace with the previous weather patterns in history. Human emitted
Greenhouse gases cause the radiant heat of the sun to be trapped in the Earth's lower atmosphere, which causes global warming. If there weren’t any greenhouse gases, the earth would be really cold due to very little sun rays being absorbed into the earth. Global warming can and will lead to several problems that affect the environment in which we humans live. These problems can lead to warmer temperatures all around the world, it can endanger animals and the wildlife, and it can lead to widespread flooding from the glaciers melting. Here are a few more future effects that I will discuss in more detail.
Climate change is one of the most discussed topics of the twenty-first century. Although this subject is very often on the daily basis of lots of people, most of them do not know much about it. So let us define climate change. People think that climate change is the same thing as global warming. However, global warming only represents one aspect of climate that is temperature. Climate change is any significant change in temperature, precipitation, or a wind pattern that occur over several decades or longer.
As defined by the Oxford dictionary, climate change is, “a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels.” (Oxford Dictionaries) Moreover, evidence of climate change can be found all over the world, and in many different forms, but is especially prevalent in certain regions. For instance, in Southeast Asia, specifically the nation of the Philippines, signs of climate change can be observed frequently, if not regularly. One major ...
Climate Change is any substantial change in climate that lasts for an extended period of time. One contributor to current climate change is global warming, which is an increase in Earth’s average temperature. Plants and animal species throughout the world are being affected by rising temperatures. Many plants are flowering earlier now than they once did; animals, such as the yellowbellied marmot, are emerging from hibernation earlier; and many bird and butterfly species are migrating north and breeding earlier in the spring than they did a few decades ago, all because of slight changes in temperature cues. (Shuster)
Climate change is the long-term shift in weather patterns in a specific region or globally. Climate change refers to changes in a regions overall weather patterns. These include temperature changes, precipitation and cloud cover (www.ecolife.com).
Climate change is caused due to the release of few carbon compounds into the atmosphere, which drastically brought the weather changes all over the world. Climate change is not confined to a single region. It has become an important issue all over the world for the past few years.
