Greek Vacation

I have always loved going on vacation. It doesn't matter where the vacation is to, as long as I am away from home for a few days. As a kid, we would take many vacations to California; I loved them! To me, vacations are a break. Sometimes they turn into permanent breaks. A couple summers ago, I traveled to Athens, Greece - it's so beautiful! During this vacation I spent a majority of my time with my family that lives there. As I am part Greek. We accomplished so many things, sightseeing in particular. My family visited my uncle’s home - he raises goats and has a grape farm! I feel like the Greek culture is very unique considering the fact that most of the food they eat, they raise and farm themselves. My family and I had a mini vacation there as well! We stayed for the day - shopped, walked around, ate lunch, I had a burst of excitement! I mean, who doesn't love shopping? We shopped at many places: Forever 21, Ralph Lauren, Lush, Mac cosmetics, Niketown, and many more! The drive home was about 3 hours. On the way, we talked about our favorite parts of the vacation. Indubitably, I blurted out that the ocean was my favorite part. When we got home, I was glad - then again, I was sorrowful because it was over! After every vacation, I have a feeling of remorse for taking so many things with me. When I get home from that vacation, I have to unpack it all. I shouted to my mom, “I'm going to have to do laundry for days to get this all put away!” This is not fun at all. In fact, it stressed me out; I want to make sure I have everything I had when I left and maybe more. You always have to come home with a couple souvenirs - that's the way I see it.
