Loki is proven to be a master of deceit and a great fighter, often using illusions to his advantage by changing his form to confuse his enemies. He grows up to be a powerful member of Odin's family alongside his adoptive brother, Thor. When Loki first realizes that he is a frost giant, he is torn. He was always smaller and weaker than his brother, but showed prowess in sorcery. Odin and the people of Asgard have worked hard to try to wipe out the frost giants from the face of world.. While he is in captivity, Tony encounters a prisoner named Ho Yinsen whom is a fellow Nobel Prize winning engineer who aids tony by attaching an electromagnet into Tony’s heart, stopping the shrapnel from progressing further and killing him. Tony and Ho Yinsen are tasked with creating weapons for the terrorist group, but instead they make plans to build a suit of armor out of Iron to help with their escape. Tony manages to escape at the cost of Ho Yinsen life, and when he gets home, Tony uses his new suit of armor as archetype and begins to engineer even more, creating over 40 different types and becoming a self proclaimed billionaire superhero.
Tony no longer sells his weapons to the military, but instead implements them into his own suits, making them more powerful each time and calling himself Iron Man, he didn't depend on superpowers or mutations in order to fight for the good of the people, he instead used his higher intellect to surpass each enemy he encountered and prepare himself for each battle

Crucial to the epic of Sigurd is the presence of Odin. Therefore, it is not a coincidence that this tale is weaved with threads from each of Odin’s most divine characteristics: war, wisdom, death, and ecstasy. Only Odin is there to see this epic through from beginning to end. Indeed, it was Odin who set the events in motion. It could reasonably be asserted that despite the favor shown towards Sigurd, Odin knew of Sigurd’s eventual downfall and the downfall of his family. When Odin set the world in motion, he knew what events would transpire and that he would be there to see them through.
He never gives up, continuing to reload to shoot back, even killing several men by blowing up the door. His ego gets the best of him while he is yelling and screaming who he is and starting they will never take him down. Once of Mr. Sosa’s men snuck behind Tony and with one shot from a double barrel, shot and killed Tony in the back. Tony fell down his balcony and landed in his fountain. Ironically, the fountain had a statue stating “The World is Yours”.
Making the suit is much easier than fighting Mandarin. Iron Man gets more skill by wearing the suit and learning how to use the suit. Iron Man’s greatest fear is the bits of shrapnel in his chest. Iron Man’s Abyss is when his suit is taken over. Iron Man’s revelation is when he develops a serious dependency of alcohol. At the beginning of his journey in the suit he is a bit cocky as well. “You’re not a man, you’re nothing- more than a manic. I’m not afraid of you, no politics here, just good old fashion revenge” (tony stark, google). Iron Man is wiser because he realized that you should never give up. His imbalance is fixed by making the suit and saving his life and the people around him. “I had my- eyes opened. I came to realize that i had more to offer this world than just making thing blow up” (tony stark, google). His injustice is fixed by making the suit. Iron Man’s gift is he gets his suit.
In Aristophanes’ speech, which primarily takes the form of a myth, he weaves together comical elements with undertones of sadness that serve to create a profound account of what Eros is. The speech describes humans as combined creatures who, after being separated, are filled with longing. These beings spend the remainder of their lives, in a sometimes futile attempt, combating this feeling of longing by searching for the individual that can make them one again. Aristophanes describes Eros as a remedy for this overwhelming emotion. He uses his story to make Eros an entity that acts in tandem with individuals wishing to be whole. As a result, Eros ultimately serves as a guide that allows humans to bring about their original feeling of completion,
Not only is Loki a trickster, but he is also famous for his shapeshifting, meaning he is “able to take on the appearance of whatever chose” (McLeish, par. 2). Shapeshifting is an ability that few of the Norse...
As any rags to riches Gangster story we see Tony working his way up, a body guard for one of the big gangsters and quickly sees that to get ahead in this business you have to step over people, taking the saying ‘do what you have to, to get ahead’ to the extreme. As his character grows throughout the film we see Tony turn into a vicious greedy man, his saying “the world is yours” mantra showed that he wanted it all. He made his way to the top; looking back at all his former bosses now he had what they had and so much more.
Many people would blatantly state that the importance of the gods in Greek society derives from the fact that Gods in any society are usually used to explain phenomenon that people cannot logically comprehend, but in ancient Greece gods were actually entities that took part in the workings of society itself. Even simple aspects of day-to-day life such as sex and disputes between mortals were supposedly influenced by godly workings. Unlike modern religions such as Catholicism, Buddhism, and Hinduism, where an omnipotent force supposedly controls the workings of the world, a hierarchy of Gods characterized religion in ancient Greece. Working as one big family, which they actually were, each one of the Greek gods governed a certain aspect of the world in a way that usually reflected their own humanlike personalities. These unique personalities also contained many human flaws such as envy and greed, and were where the Greek God’s importance lay. Greek religion was more concentrated on the way an individual dealt with situations that popped up in the world around him than on understanding the world itself. In other words the Greeks were more interested in the workings of the mind than in the workings of the environment around them.
His jealousy over took him even though he was a god. He set out and found the mistletoe without any trouble; he then came back to where all the gods were testing out Balder by throwing things at him. Loki found Balder’s blind brother and told him that he should be respectful and throw something at Balder too. So because of Loki’s jealousy, he helped the blind brother aim the mistletoe at Balder and throw it. It killed Balder instantly.
The Nordic creation myths tend to combine accretion/conjunction, secretion, and sacrifice motifs. It features the blending of fire and ice in a random joining of elements. When the warm breath of Muspell meets the frost of arctic Nieflheim, ice melts and the resulting water drops come to life, creating the evil giant Ymir. As the giant sleeps, sweat from his armpits creates the first man and woman. These other giants grow to despise Ymir and the creation story continues with the slaying and mutilation of the vile giant.
True to the namesake of the film, Thor is the protagonist. The biggest change Thor faces in this film is that he now a clean-shaven blonde instead of a bearded red-head. Aside from physical appearances, Thor’s personality as a god is similar to the Thor in Norse mythology. As exemplified in the Lay of Thrym, Thor travels to Jotunheim with Loki and several other gods, although this time he is not dressed as a woman and he carries Mjolnir with him. In the film, Loki appears to act as a voice of reason by attempting to deescalate Thor’s impending anger towards the Giants recent trespassing into Asgard. Despite there being a supposed truce between Laufey, leader of the Giants, and Odin, Thor does not condone the Giant’s actions and wishes to wage war. This parallels Loki’s sentiments at the end of Lokasenna where he states, “I will go outside for you alone, because I know that you will fight [or kill]” (Acker 180), demonstrating Thor’s impulsiveness and perceived violent
