"Hello ladies! I always was a sucker for a redhead". Angelina Jolie whispers as she slides into a bright red Ferrari and drives it away at record speed. Eleanor. What, you ask? You have to be living in a box if you don't know what Eleanor is. She's the unicorn. As for the rest of us, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Gone in 60 Seconds is an amazing, fast paced, sit on the edge of your seat movie. Is that my opinion? Yes it is, but there are millions of people who agree with me too. A million people can't be wrong. This movie has an excellent cast of characters that you will find yourself laughing along with them. I highly recommend this film to anyone who loves cars and everything about them.
The first thing that hooks you on this movie is the cast. You have Nicholas Cage, Angelina Jolie, Giovanni Ribisi and so much more. If you're a fan of these actors you definitely want to give this film a try. Nicholas Cage and Angelina Jolie bring this movie to life. Their chemistry on screen is impressive. This movie is about boosting cars. What is a boost? Taking cars that you don't own. Nicholas Cage is given the enourmous task of saving his brothers life(Ribisi) after his character accepted a challenge..to boost 50 cars in two days! Ribisi plays a reckless juvinile who strays into the world of auto theft. Cage swoops into his brothers rescue by agreeing to pay his debt to the villian in this movie, Raymond Calitri. If Ribisi doesn't steal 50 cars and have them on a boat in two days, Calitri will kill him.
Nicholas Cage must comes out of retirement after promising his mother he would quit stealing cars for good. Right from the beginning of this film it is full of high action, fun, memorable quotes. Lo...
... middle of paper ...
...he high suspense ending keeps you guessing to the last minute. In the end, Nicholas Cage saves one of the police officers lives and somehow this forgives all the nights illegal events. Calitri is dead.
At the end, the whole crew gets together to discuss the job they just did. As a jesture of good will, Ribisi gives his brother, Nicholas Cage, an Eleanor of his own. She is a bit beat up and needs a lot of work, but everyone is laughing and loving it. Nicholas Cage and Angelina Jolie ride off into the sunset in Eleanor...and leaves you wanting more. Again, I highly recommend you take time out to see this action packed, fast paced movie. I hope you would like as much as everyone who's seen it already. I also happen to think it's one of those great movies you will want to own on DVD/Blue Ray so that you can take it out and watch it anytime the urge gets you.
This is quite a literal example of closure in a movie. The endings of films in classical Hollywood almost always seems inevitable. The audience’s expectations and desires that they have had since the start of the film are fulfilled and given
The ending of this book was a cliffhanger. In my opinion that is the worse kind of ending, but that’s how that writing persuades the reader to get the next book in the series. Without giving too much away about the end of the story, it was very unexpected. To be
To begin with, in this film, Richard Beymer (Tony) is the former leader of the jet that lives with Riff, works at Docs store and is in love with Maria. Natalie Wood (Maria) is the sister of Bernado who works at the bridal store and is in love with Tony. Rita Moreno (Anita) is Bernardo’s girlfriend that works in the bridal store. Tony Mordente (Action) is the most aggressive
So maybe all the characters are left a little empty, or perhaps one can believe that the characters truly found themselves. The ending is left open and ambiguous by Wes Anderson on purpose. The reason being he wants the viewer to think about if the characters are fulfilled, and no longer have a void that cannot be
This is a very emotional song because it is a tribute to the late Paul Walker. It is especially emotional if you have seen the movies or are a fan of Paul. However it is still evocative even if you have never seen Paul Walker before because of how the video is formatted. The director uses cars as an rhetorical tool in the video because Paul was most known for his role in the Fast and Furious series, and he was killed in a car crash because he was speeding. The cars in the video help remind us that he died doing what he loved and that even though he left this world to early he was most likely enjoying himself in the moments before his death.
...journey that is about to be taken, as they try to escape the discrimination caused by white authority. This is followed by a shot of them, running from inside the car, showing they will be outpaced and as a result, be taken away. The close up shot of the three girls in the back of the car allows the audience to see their expressions of lost hope.
The ending is not expected at readers do not think that Winston would have been captured. Readers feel pity during the ending. However, there is a very strong voice throughout - creates intensity and creates impartiality
I really enjoyed this film. I would highly recommend it to anyone who really enjoys a good revenge movie. This film will cover it all. I do plan on buying this film, framing it and putting it up on my wall. That’s how much I liked it. If you have not yet seen this film, you need to get up and go get a copy and set your DVD player to repeat.
There are famous people all around and their fans are loving every second of it. The fans' faces are full of joy and awe as their favorite actors and actresses enter the large building that will soon be showing the new movie. Soon, the two people that everyone in Hollywood is dying to see, appear in their stretched Rolls Royce and bring the crowd to its feet. As Lockwood and Lamont exit their luxurious ride they are received lovingly by everyone. They walk to the front of the building and are introduced to the crowd.
Gangsters, violence, murder and corruption !!!!! If these are some of the things that you're into, then this is your kind of movie. Be ready to watch it more than once to be sure to get all the movie has to offer because it jumps from subject to subject and can be a little confusing.
There are movies that make you laugh, that make you cry, that blow you away with jaw-dropping, ever-so-satisfying action sequences. And there is Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino’s masterpiece, an homage to the old Pulp Magazines and crime novels popular in the 1950s. Known for their incredibly dense and complex dialogue and excessive violence, Tarantino adds his trademark nonlinear chronology and thorough character development to create a movie that celebrates the fact that chance governs all of our lives. The film consists of multiple stories that tell of the criminals, gangsters and outliers of Los Angeles, the underbelly of society. It follows Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield as they embark on their mission to recovering a briefcase that
The movie’s plot is twisted and sneaky. The opening scene starts with character Marion Crane, a real estate secretary. She is in a hotel with, Sam Loomis, her boyfriend. Sam owes debt, and Marion wants to bail him out of debt so they can get married. She goes to the office where she works, where a client leaves 40,000 in cash. Marion then takes the money to California to give the money to her boyfriend. Marion gets nervous and soon pulls over. A police comes
All in all, after watching the movie, I know how to be thankful, the point of persistence and the precious friendship, I have learnt some important things that I didn’t know before. And the best thing is I'm still young enough, I also can fix my behavior and gain experiences.
The film does a fascinating job at keeping its viewers awake and entertained and not drooling halfway through the movie. Felix Vasquez from cinemacrazed says, “It’s shocking that not only is “Fast & Furious 7” not only the best entry in the series yet, but it’s also one of the best movies of the year. It’s exciting, it’s engrossing, it’s fun, and goddamn, it’s a heartbreaking last go around for Paul Walker." Furious 7 comes along way from its past films in the series, and don't get me wrong they’re all great movies but this one has to be one of the best out of all of them. It’s entertaining in a fun way that keeps just anyone from a child to an old person with their eyes wide open. Richard Roeper, from RichardRoeper says, “with so many repetitive moments I almost began to wonder if I had missed something and the movie had started again, I have to admit I was entertained by the sheer audacity of the car chases and battle sequences". Roeper explains that the film was very entertaining and it’s almost as if the movie had started from the beginning again because of its entertainment throughout the movie. The car crashes in the movie seemed realistic enough to convince him he was in the
This film really focuses on the characters. Their thoughts, anger, distress, and mistakes become part of your mistakes. This deals with a father’s s priority and how he will achieve that priority by using unethical ways like torturing an innocent man. Bringing up child abduction and torture are
