WHAT IS DIVERSITY IN GLOBAL WORKPLACE?
Organizations are leveraging and employing increasing numbers of virtual and remote workers. These employees may define “workplace” as a home office, on site with clients and colleagues, on the road, a small cubicle or even a local coffee shop. Even employees who do have an assigned physical space in a company location have redefined their definition of “workplace” as they reallocate gears working in the office, at home, or on the go. FEATURES OF A GLOBAL WORKPLACE
An effective global workplace is challenging to build but it is an important objective for corporations and companies. Challenges are produced by maintaining an ethical and comprehensive culture across country boundaries and creating a culture of shared values and opinions in a familial environment. Following are few features of a global workplace:
1. Conduct Code/ Code of Conduct
A thriving global workplace has a uniform conduct code that explains how employees of the company are expected to behave professionally and justly. This may mean looking for a middle ground between cultures on different issues.
2. Technology Infrastructure
A global workplace usually has a massive technology and communication infrastructure. In an accurate global workplace, employees in serviceable departments have colleagues who work in different countries. Computers, mobile devices and competent Internet access are a given. Also common are effective offices with computers and mobile conferencing solutions.

Diversity and Labour Efficiency
Two common features of a global workplace are diversity and an stress on cost controls. With employees across the world, diverse companies hire people with different state origins, ethnicity, cultures and languages. This presents the opportunity for generating diverse ideas and the ability to cover the needs of a varied marketplace.
DIVERSITY IN GLOBAL WORKPLACE: PROBLEMS
A common misapprehension is that the phrase "workplace diversity" means meeting certain quotas in employee race or gender categories and other such categories. In fact, "diversity" as it relates to human resources is a way of thinking and functioning that encourages a completely new and positive outlook among co-workers and colleagues. Diversity in the work environment promotes acceptance, admiration and teamwork. Companies that overcome certain diversity issues often achieve better productivity, profit and company morale.

The key constituent in achieving a satisfactorily diversified workplace is establishing teamwork and mutual respect among workforce members. Acceptance of individual differences is vital in creating a copacetic and prolific work environment. Acceptance leads to respect, and eventually
