Our dependency in foreign oil is reflected in our pocket and every time we visit the gas station. We are a war, a tyrant or natural disaster away from a $5 gallon gas. The Gas Replacer will liberate you from the fear of when, and not what if, we’ll have a gas crisis. The price of biofuel is more constant than gas, and there are little surprises, because we can control the source of production.
Another great benefit for you is the lifetime warranty that comes with the Gas Replacer. Forward Inc. guarantees the product for 10 years, and that’s what I call peace of mind. You can have a certified dealer o repair shop to install the Gas Replacer (please, don’t try installing it yourself), and you can be assure it will work or you money back. A 10 years warranty is above the standard for this type of add-on products, therefore you can be satisfy and relax with your purchase.
The Gas Replacer is a not brainer for those looking to convert their car’s engine to biofuel. There is nothing like it in the market. I am sure it won’t regret the switch, and will enjoy the benefits every single day. It is quite clear that the Gas Replacer is a win-win-win. The environment wins, your car wins, and of course you win! What else can you
ask?
It can kill you! Yeah, this thing is silent and deadly! Colorless and odorless, you never know where it can be leaking from. Can you smell? Nope! Can you taste it? Nahhh! Have you figure it out yet? The thing that might take your life right now, or maybe tonight or maybe tomorrow. No? Well, I’ll be nice and tell you. The poisonous demand that lurk through the air so free and careless is Carbon Monoxide or CO. In this paper, you will learn all what and how it can kill you plus how you can protect yourself from Mr.CO
Currently, the most important factor in the rise of gas prices is the increasing cost of crude oil. Unfortunately, the United States has three percent of the world’s oil reserves. (Horsley) In 2009, the United States was third in crude oil production as well as the world’s largest petroleum consumer. (e. I. Administration) Such consumption required and still requires the United States to import petroleum/crude oil from other countries.
I am a husband and a father of four lovely children. We need a large vehicle to haul all of us around town. And of course I would do anything to keep them safe and I always want to provide them with the best. Therefore, after the birth of our fourth child two and a half years ago, my wife and I decided to upgrade our Ford Explorer to a Ford Expedition. We got everything from the side-curtain airbags to the TV and DVD player. What we did not know was we also purchased a rather large unleaded gas bill. The first time we filled the tank it cost us roughly $35; today it costs us right around $75 to fill the tank. Obviously the price of gas has increased significantly in the last two years. The price increase is due to a fluctuation in the supply and demand of not only gasoline but also crude oil, which is needed to manufacture gasoline. In addition, several other factors are influencing a change in the price of gasoline.
Biodiesel is considered an environmentally friendly alternative because it reduces the amount many toxic substances. Plants such as soybeans require carbon dioxide from the air to produce their stems, roots and leaves. During biodiesel production from soybean oil, carbon dioxide is produced and released in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is considered a green house gas (GHG). However, this cycle of GHG emission does not neccersarily contribute to the atmospheric carbon dioxide levels. This is because the next soybean crop will reuse the carbon dioxide emitted for its growth. Another important environmental benefit is that biodiesel reduces particulate matter (PM), hydrocarbon (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions. These benefits occur because biodiesel contains 11% oxygen by weight. Oxygen allows the fuel to burn better, resulting in fewer emissions from unburned fuel. And lastly, biodiesel fuels do not contain any sulfur and does not have an unpleasant smell when it is emitted from vehicles.
The tradeoffs of using gasoline for cars are large emission of carbon dioxide and required large amount of chemical t...
For over 100 years, the automobile industry has relied on gasoline as its main source of fuel. Gasoline is a colorless, highly flammable substance used in internal combustion engines. It is a fossil fuel made from crude oil, a natural gas formed from the remains of ancient plants and animals (Webster‘s Dictionary). Gasoline has positively influenced our way of life by providing convenient, on demand transportation. It has created a global economy that moves people and goods faster and more easily than ever imagined (Povey 12). Although a seemingly perfect substance, it has unprecedented flaws. The tremendous political, environmental, and economic problems resultant from the excessive use of gasoline leads to the conclusion that the automobile industry should not continue to rely on this source of fuel.
When most people think of fossil fuel use, they think of personal transportation. There are many ways to reduce your transportation energy use. For short distances, walking and biking are healthy alternatives to using a fossil fuel using vehicle. In many areas, public transportation can also be an option. Electric cars are also an efficient alternative in the right areas. The biggest issue with electric cars is the ability to charge the vehicle away from home. Another concern with these vehicles is their limited driving range. Buying a diesel car to reduce your dependence on fossil fuels is another alternative. Diesels can run on biodiesel fuels or entirely from non-fossil fuel based ingredients. Most diesels require little or no mechanical conversion to run on biodiesel fuel, which is becoming more readily available at gas stations across...
The U.S dependency on foreign oil presents many negative impacts on the nation’s economy. The cost for crude oil represents about 36% of the U.S balance of payment deficit. (Wright, R. T., & Boorse, D. F. 2011). This does not affect directly the price of gas being paid by consumers, but the money paid circulates in the country’s economy and affects areas such as; the job market and production facilities. (Wright, R. T., & Boorse, D. F. 2011). In addition to the rise in prices, another negative aspect of the U.S dependency on foreign crude oil is the risk of supply disruptions caused by political instability of the Middle East. According to Rebecca Lefton and Daniel J. Weiss in the Article “Oil Dependence Is a Dangerous Habit” in 2010, the U.S imported 4 million barrels of oil a day or 1.5 billion barrels per year from “dangerous or unstable” countries. The prices in which these barrels are being purchased at are still very high, and often lead to conflict between the U.S and Middle Eastern countries. Lefton and Weiss also add that the U.S reliance on oil from countries ...
The main points I presented included whether or not to utilize alternative sources, such as: Geothermal, biofuels, or solar. Another stance on the topic is to remain using generic fossil fuels, such as coal and oil. The common ground would be to use both alternative sources and traditional fuels to sustain efficiency. There are multiple benefits to alternative sources. Benefits of biofuels include the fact that they can come from a variety of sources, such as plant materials, crops, and recycled vegetable oils, as per Christopher Cone of Science Progress stated. Another source is biodiesel, which replaces standard diesel. If utilized, it can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, secure energy supplies, and promote the standardization of renewable energy. More positives of alternative sources suggest possible tax exempts, lower costs overall, coming from domestic sources, and also the availability of blending with multiple sources at a time. Possible negatives include the disadvantage of being limited or refined by OEM companies (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and scarcity of refueling options. The Environmental Defense Fund suggests, “using alternative sources, as traditional fossil fuels are known to cause health concerns…” (EDF). These health concerns include toxic compounds attacking organs, causing brain damage, or possible death. In parts of the country where lakes and waterways have been contaminated with mercury from
With a gasoline-fueled vehicle, buying gas to operate your car is a never-ending process. With the high price change of gasoline and oil, operating a gasoline-fueled vehicle tends to be very costly. While there are some types of small gasoline vehicles that get much better gas mileage than larger vehicles, even the most powerful gasoline cars will normally desire a contribution every month. According to some experts the only way a mainstream market for green vehicles wills materlize is with a pronounced and prolonged rise in fuel prices. (Buss, 4)

Due to the equipments and products needed to create biodiesel, the average cost will be around $2.80, while the cost of gasoline is a bit lower at around $2.50, but is our environment and world worth losing over a small increase is price? Another disadvantage that will come along with the use of biodiesel fuel is that it can harm rubber tubes in some engines, and as it cleans the dirt from the engines, the dirt can be collected by the fel filters, which will clog it. These two issues will generate a need to frequently change the rubber tubes and fuel
Biogas can be used as vehicle fuel when it has been cleaned. The biogas cleaning consists of water (H2o) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S) that lead to separation of carbon dioxide from normal biogas (60 % Methane and 40% Carbon dioxide) content (Petersson & Wellinger, 2009). Biogas production from energy crops like maize, ley and sugar beet is the efficient resource compare with bioethanol fuel because it provides high energy yield (Börjesson, & Mattiasson, 2008).
Fuels like coal, and oil that once were a fine innovation in creating energy are now rapidly deleting and one day will be gone forever; energy that won’t last is often referred to as non-renewable energy. Besides being set up to fail and become inefficient in the future, fossil fuel energy is not clean to use and poses several environmental complications. Coal, for instance is “the dirtiest of all fossil fuels. Coal combustion not only produces sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides that contribute to acid rain and snow, it generates millions of tons of particulates that cause asthma and other respiratory diseases.” As with all usage of fossil fuels, it creates enormous amounts of carbon dioxide, which contributes to greenhouse gas. Not only are fossil fuels dirty, they also pose as a security risk and unforgiving on the American wallet. (Saini)
