Frankly speaking, it was only a couple years ago when I chose what I actually prioritize in my life. That was the time when I decided that becoming the best version of myself is my life goal, and that I have to work particularly on improving my personality on a daily basis. So here is how the story of me leaving the comfort zone started. I found out about a great opportunity called “Future Leaders Exchange” Program which allows students from post-sovietic countries to study for one academic year in a school in the United States, living with a host family. First time when I applied for this scholarship, I actually was not selected; however, I did not give up my dream of exploring a new culture, and learning how to be more independent, thus next time I put my whole heart into the application essays, and I was lucky enough to become a new “Future Leader” exchange student. Due to this amazing program I got to meet many people who inspired me to become a change in this world, and to make it a better place for everyone. Also, as I have planned for myself, in order to get the most out of my exchange year I have to be very active and try as many new things as possible, and maybe I will discover a new passion. My expectations from this were not wrong, I was a part of 12 school club and I have learned things starting with farming and ending with business. Additionally, I was in the varsity soccer team, and an active member of Service Club where I tutored geometry and chemistry.
