The saying: love you to death, actually comes to life. We all need to learn to live, love and laugh in our daily lives. Life goes by way too quickly. Life still goes on even if you're angry with someone. In the play, Romeo and Juliet, by: William Shakespeare, the Montagues and Capulets spent their entire lives fighting. So much anger, hate and even love between the two families. Nobody would ever forget the past and move on, they hold on to those grudges. In this play, Romeo and Juliet, it was never Romeo and Juliet to blame for their suicide. Romeo and Juliet’s death was all to do with fate.
First, it was Friar Lawrence's fault Romeo and Juliet committed suicide. Friar Lawrence not only made one, but three mistakes that led to the death of Romeo and Juliet. He had gave a poison to Juliet, he trusted someone else with a letter of great importance to deliver to Romeo, and he fled to Juliet’s tomb, instead of trying to help her. Friar Lawrence was planning for Romeo and Juliet to be together but it did not end well. Friar Lawrence made the mistake of trusting a unstable fourteen year with a potion.
Second, the Capulets were apart of this too by Tybalt killing Mercutio. Romeo was banished from Verona because of what the Capulets did. If Romeo had not gotten in the way then he wouldn't be banished.

If the Capulet never moved up the wedding, there would have been more time for the new travel to Romeo. Capulet’s did not allow them to be together. Capulet’s would kill romeo if they ever caught him kissing Juliet. Thirdly, it was also the Nurses fault for forcing her daughter to marry count Paris, because of this argument, Juliet does not trust the nurse anymore. In every relationship there has to be trust, if there is not trust, there is no relationship.
The nurse practically raised Juliet, she was like her mom. Nurse was responsible for many reasons, she did not counsel Juliet when she saw that she was in love with Romeo, a foe of her family; she was also disloyal to Juliet when Juliet had asked advice from her for her refusal to marry Paris. The Nurse was not only disloyal to Juliet, but to her own kind, the Capulets. Running around behind their backs trying to get Juliet
married. In the end, Romeo and Juliet lived happily together in death because of the Friar’s unfortunate plans, the selfish wishes of Mr. and Mrs. Capulet for their daughter, and the nurses poor advice to Juliet, Romeo and Juliet pursued to commit suicide. In the end we all need to learn to forgive and move on. Live life to the fullest, love unconditionally and laugh often. Life's too short to have rules in it. In my opinion, that is what Romeo and Juliet missed out on their entire lives. They could not move on when they were told no. Everyone was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Friar Laurence’s interference in the families of Romeo and Juliet set much of the fighting, rage and death of these characters into motion. Romeo and Juliet is the title of a great tragedy. This tragedy has been caused by Friar Laurence’s involvement in the marriage of Romeo and Juliet, the Friar’s lying to Capulet and his family, and his involvement in the false death of Juliet.
The attempt that Friar Lawrence had made to fix up his wrong doings was a mistake and took a huge role in leading up to the two deaths. He had a second chance to come clean and tell the families the truth, but he chose to ignore that opportunity and came up with a plan that resulted in the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. After Romeo had been banished, the plan that the Friar conjured up was for Juliet to take a potion which would make her appear dead.
Braelen Jarrett 1/22/2018 My thesis statement is that Friar Lawrence is the person to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death. The character that I have chosen is Friar Lawrence. Lawrence was a holy man and a priest. In the classic play of Romeo and Juliet. Lawrence was the adviser in Romeo and Juliet isolation. Romeo came to Lawrence and asked him to marry him to Juliet. Friar Lawrence agreed to marry the two lovers in secret. While Lawrence began to marry the two, he was hoping that it would heal the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets. When Romeo was banish for killing Tybalt, he flees to
Romeo and Juliet died for they're love, they did everything they could to stay together as lovers. They're deaths wasn't planned it was all in the hands of one person. In my perspective Friar Laurence was the main blame for the death of the couple. I believe this because if Friar Laurence could have went to the families and told them that the feud between them would have to end. Everyone trusted Friar Laurence, if he would've asked them to stop there's a good chance Romeo and Juliet would still be alive.
This causes Romeo’s downward spiral, which ultimately results in Romeo’s death. When she discovers Romeo’s death, Juliet stabs herself. While this may be true,Friar Lawrence holds the most blame for the outcome of the play.
Death is a natural cause that we can't get out of. Death is a thing that poets see as a popular topic for inspiration for their writing for its mystery. Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is full of death, but who's fault is it? These facts below say that Friar Lawrence is to blame.
In Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet, Friar Laurence has a major role. As a member of the Order of St. Francis, a group of wise and generous priests, Romeo and Juliet trusted Friar Laurence completely, turning to him for advice, and solutions. He was there throughout Romeo’s and Juliet's lives; he married them, came up with a plan to keep them together, and was a friend throughout their tragedies. However, Friar Laurence’s rash action in marrying Romeo and Juliet, his shortsighted plan for rescuing Juliet from an unwanted marriage to Paris, and his fear of committing sin all contributed to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
The sad story Romeo and Juliet, where both Romeo and Juliet die is at the hands of Friar Lawrence. He is to blame for a variety of reasons, such as the fact that he marries them, makes the plan to fake juliets death, and leaves Juliet all by herself in a tomb of dead bodies , distraught and still mentally recovers from all the prior events. Friar lawrence lays the foundation for such a tragedy.
In William Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, two young lovers lost their lives when hate and love collided. From the Montagues came Romeo and from the Capulets came Juliet. The two families were feuding and Romeo and Juliet could not stand being without each other. They both killed themselves because they thought life was not worth living without the other. Though there are many who can be blamed for this tragic ending, there are three that are the most responsible.
“If the soul is left in darkness, sins will be committed. The guilty one is not he who commits the sin, but the one who causes the darkness.” This quote from Victor Hugo’s, Les Misérables shows that people have a habit of blaming others for things that they don’t want to take the blame for, but sometimes, it is the one that is blaming other who is really at fault. People blame those who were closest to the situation for the faults that happened in said situation. Though, this method of blame is not alway correct. Friar Lawrence, a main character in William Shakespeare's play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, is commonly blamed for most of the unfortunate occurrences that occured in this story.

Also, the Friar failed to send word to Romeo that Juliet wasn’t really dead and by the time he got to the tomb, it was too late and Romeo and Juliet were dead. Friar Lawrence was responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because he was a coward, secretive, and had a lack of communication with the other characters.
In Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare is talking about a feud between two families; the Montagues and the Capulets which follow to revenge then love and ended in a tragedy that killed two young souls Romeo and Juliet. He also wanted to explain the real meaning of true love and the obstacles lovers can find themselves in.Juliet’s Nurse plays an important role in the play, her key function in the play was to act as a go between Romeo and Juliet and besides Friar Lauwrence , she was the only one who knew about the wedding which led to the tragedy. She has a role equal to that of Juliet’s mother and treated her as her own daughter. She was supporting protecting and loving toward her until that faithful day when she advised her that she should
The play Romeo and juliet, by William Shakespeare explores love and hate. Love can lead to unintended consequences for oneself and others. One of these being death. Many deaths have been introduced as unintended consequences because of forbidden love. There are many ways forbidden love creates death, This including tybalt's death and the two star-crossed lovers.
The nurse seems to almost think of Juliet as a child and aggressively indicates that SHE, not Lady Capulet, was the one who raised Juliet. This bond may be an explanation for the Nurse’s mercurial and maternal persona throughout the story. The Nurse starts her role as Romeo and Juliet’s matchmaker in the end of Act one, Scene five when she hints to Romeo how virtuous Juliet is, and how the man who marries her will become quite wealthy. The reader also sees this behavior in Act two, Scene four, when The Nurse tells Romeo what a good heart he has, and hints that Juliet wants a proposal. This is a crucial reason that the Nurse is at fault here. She has evoked the idea of marriage to Romeo and had she not, maybe this infatuation would’ve worn out like most infatuations do, and both characters would still be alive. The reader can see the Nurse show another aspect of motherhood in Act 3, Scene 5 when she suddenly decides she knows what is best for Juliet. After standing up for her at first, the Nurse quickly changes her mind and tells Juliet that Romeo is as good as dead, and marrying Paris won’t be as bad as she thinks. This is another justification for the fact that the Nurse is partially responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Yes, Lord and Lady Capulet do not better Juliet’s condition, but being betrayed by the Nurse, who was even closer to Juliet than her parents, caused Juliet to be even
The Nurse is a key character in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, playing the essential part of the messenger between lovers, proving her kindness as well as maternal love to Juliet and adding important comic relief to help cast a lighter shade over the dark themes of the tragedy. If it weren’t for the Nurse in the play, the threads holding the play together may likely come loose, leaving Juliet without a mother, the star-crossed lovers’ relationship to cease, no one to crack bawdy comments and the play in tatters.
