It would cut down on the amount of stress and give them more time in class to complete/continue on their homework. In the year of 2017, $72.8 billion was spent on improving the education being taught to students. With that amount of money, you could buy sixteen Yacht History Supremes which cost 4.5 billion each! Using the method of only having four days a week of school would help cut down on the amount of spending on education. For starters, the district wouldn’t spend as much on transportation services, lunches for students, and heating and a/c to keep the school suitable for learning conditions. Although students have to pay for their own school lunches, the school has to pay for the food that the students eat for their lunches. On top of all this spending, the district has to pay teachers and substitutes when the teachers can’t come to school. A shortened school week would cut down on this extra spending of teachers and substitutes and allow for more spending in other areas that are truly

We have more family time, time to fish and hunt, and also more time to work. But what I do not understand is why do not tell us what is going on with the school. Maybe, some parents would even volunteer to help the school out. Has the school even thought about that? Probably not. I am here to try and persuade you to be on my side of the school. I believe this would be the best for the school. Also, The Board of Education does not know what day they are going to do. It is ether going to be Mondays or Fridays. I personally think, if they go to a four day school week, Mondays. A lot of the parents are saying yes, and then a lot of parents are saying no. Plus, our grade for the school is D-. That right there is telling you NOT to do it. This will cause more frustration for students and they will not want to do the homework. They will want to relax more than
If Springfield where to try this they would save money. The district would be saving money on food. You may be thinking will my child's grade suffer? School should be four days a week with an extra hour added to each school day because it would save money for the school system, increase student motivation, stimulate the economy, and promote student achievement. There has been a decrease in education due to the small amount of resources, causing classrooms to be bigger and children not being able to extend their knowledge. Even though the economy has been falling, each school district has been working hard to promote student education, which could mean trading a traditional school schedule for a four-day school week. Replacing a normal school schedule for the four day school week can raise the school budget tremendously. (Hart, Demand Media).

The four-day school week has been proposed as one solution to address budget shortfalls. News reports indicate that districts in several states including New York, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kansas, and Louisiana are considering such a shift in instructional time. There are a lot of parents and professors concerned that it is hard for children to go to school early in the morning and stay there the whole day. On the other side, some professors try to force students into a nine hour school day. Not so many years ago, school was a main part of my life, and the school days’ structure and length affected my social life and ability to study. From my own experience and some studies that I have seen, students benefit if school days are long.
That one day can relieve the stress of a busy week and make a student feel refreshed. A refreshed student will learn better than a stressed-out student. The same goes for a teacher. A teacher that has had that one extra day of rest can teach better than a stressed-out teacher because a well rested student will be more relaxed, calm, and patient. & nbsp; Although some people may think extending the school week will benefit the education level of the country I think otherwise. Extending the school week could actually hurt the education level of our country. Eliminating time for family, work, and relaxation will affect the attitudes of the students and teachers. Their
