Would you drink water that contained cancer-causing chemicals? Would you let someone medicate you without your consent? Would you ingest something that was fed to concentration camp victims? No matter what the answer to those questions was, it is most likely happening anyways. The fluoride added to the United States water systems is extremely detrimental to human health. It is also a complete violation of human rights and consent. And because of its history and biological effects, it may be used in order to keep citizens easy to manipulate. Adding fluoride to water systems should be illegal as the government can employ it to control our minds. It would be illegal for the common person to slip pills or medicines into someone’s food or
drinks without their knowledge, even if they were supposedly helpful. But why then is the government able to do it to us every day? Fluoridating water is medication without consent, and is a violation of civil rights. Fluoride is the only chemical added to water that is meant to alter the consumer and not the actual water itself. Fluoride is also a drug, not a nutrient, and is therefore a form of medication. Medication without consent is illegal, as it deprives people of their own free will. Fluoride supplements added to water have never been approved from the FDA and are delivered from people with little to no medical qualifications. This leads to uncontrolled doses of the chemical with no systematic overview of a medical professional. Many argue that this should be allowed even without knowledge or consent of the consumers as it could possibly be helpful to them, comparing the practice to adding vitamin D to milk. However, fluoride is not an essential nutrient, such as vitamin D. It is a drug, and its risks heavily outweigh its helpful qualities. The Fluoride Action Network offers further description on how the addition of fluoride to water systems explicitly breaks codes of basic civil rights. “As explained by the American Medical Association, the doctor must inform the patient of the medicine’s benefits, side effects, and alternatives and then allow the patient to decide whether to take the medicine or not.” As even the American Medical Association deems this practice unethical, no reason exists for the American government to continue condoning, much less supporting, it. If individuals are not allowed to treat someone medically without their knowledge, then no reason exists for why the government should be able to either. Medicating an entire country's main source of water with a known poison is not only suspicious of alternate government intentions, but is an altogether a violation of civil rights.
This experiment was conduct to investigate the fluorescent behaviour of Leucophor PAF and to investigate the quenching of QBS with NaCl. It was found that the Leucophor PAF indeed satisfied the characteristic to act as whitening agent. It was also found that the quenching of QBS with NaCl was a diffusion-controlled collision process.
Fluoride is the only substance added to water that doesn’t affect the water itself but the person consuming the water- fluoride is a medical treatment. The same NHS website that boasts the marvellous pros of the UK’s fluoridation scheme also explicitly explains ‘Consent is required from a patient regardless of the intervention – from a physical examination to organ donation’ on a page regarding the legalities of medical consent. It is required by law that all patients must be aware and accepting of the treatment that they receive therefore feeding us a medicine (if it can even be called that) that we as society in many cases, know very little about is highly illegal and dangerous for everyone involved. Today doctors who give patients treatment without their consent face legal procedures and punishments so the fact that this practice goes on everyday under our noses with no repercussion is astonishing and shouldn’t happen just because the perpetrator (the government) is more powerful than a
Fluoride is being overused in the United States and there needs to be a stop to it. With all the problems it is causing, the limit being used should be something everyone should worry about. Many think fluoride is good for you because it whitens your teeth, and dentist offer it every time you go there, but clearly it is not. Fluoride does help with a lot of things like mottling of teeth and whitening teeth, but health problems are occurring, and it needs to come to a stop. Department of Health and Human Services have recommended a level of 0.7 milligrams per liter as a optimal for fluoride in drinking water throughout the United States. (State of Washington) Clearly, they are using more than normal that is it starting to cause a lot of health problems. To finalize, fluoride is being overused in the US, and there needs to be a stop to
As the above definition suggests, water fluoridation is the process by which municipal water supplies are treated with fluoride based elements as a counter-measure to dental issues. This has become a health and social issue; it is a form of ‘mass medicine’ that has found to be the cause of a variety of health concerns.
Fluoride is a mineral derived from a naturally occurring element called fluorine. Fluorine is the 13th most abundant component on Earth, and you'll find it all round us in the air and water. Toothpaste comprises fluoride. While hard line anti-fluoride consumers bypass fluoride-enriched toothpaste, most people use it because it's been shown to help avert cavities. It does so by sustaining your saliva which assists to avert the buildup up the tooth plaque that leads to cavities. It also helps to guard against to decrease of minerals helpful to tooth enamel.
People around the world wake up each morning and brush their teeth with toothpaste, not knowing what's in it. Fluoride is being used in thing’s that shouldn't be, like water. Water is H2O that people around the drink constantly. Some drink more than others, like athlete’s, manual laborer’s, diabetic’s, and people with kidney disease which are exposed to more fluoride than other’s (12 Reasons). All the other water treatment chemicals are added to improve the water for safe drinking, but fluoride does not. How are we supposed to control how much fluoride goes into our bodies? It’s impossible to control the dose each person receives because each person drinks different amounts of water. Portland Oregon made a agreeable decision to reject the plan to fluoridate drinking water supplies because fluoride is a hazardous, cancer-causing chemical that should not be added to water supplies that serve an entire city.
The history on adding fluoride to the drinking water is shaped by lies. It was insisted by the government that addition of fluoride to drinking water is safe and that it is necessary. However research conducted by many scientists’ shows that it is not safe to consume fluoride. Surveys have shown that areas where people consume fluoridated water have shown to pose serious health implications.
In Canada, Dr. Richard Foulkes, MD, former special advisor to the B.C. Minister of Health and now an internationally recognized authority on fluoride, recommended legislation in 1973 to make fluoridated water mandatory. Today, Dr. Foulkes no longer believes fluoridation is safe and effective. H...
However, in Britain (1985), the report of the working committee on fluoridation of water and cancer has no evidence in development of cancer in association with fluoridation of water. An...

Secondly, as described above the overconsumption of fluoride has more side effects then benefits. . Fluoride overconsumption may weaken bones and cause osteoporosis. In the latest issue of Osteoporosis International, researchers report that fluoride consumption from tea and toothpaste damaged one woman's bones. This case describes a 53-year-old British woman with a broken bone in her foot, abnormally dense bones and badly decayed teeth. To prevent bone damage or skeletal fluorosis, in 1986 the Environmental Protection Agency set 4 milligrams per liter (mg/L) as water fluoride's maximum-contaminant-level. In 2006, the National Research Council reported that 4 mg/L is too high to protect health. Yet, some brewed teas contain almost twice that concentration. It can actually be dangerous to consume with resulting health consequences such as neurotoxicity, cancer, and fluorosis among others. Dental fluorosis results in staining and pitting of the teeth with some enamel damage possible at advanced levels. Skeletal fluorosis is a more advanced and serious case of fluorosis and results in pain and impairment of joints, muscles, and tissue. Chronic intake of excessive fluoride can lead to the severe and permanent bone and joint deformations of skeletal fluorosis. Early symptoms include sporadic pain and stiffness of joints: headache, stomach-ache and muscle weakness can also be warning signs. The next stage is osteosclerosis (hardening and calcifying of the bones), and finally the spine, major joints, muscles and nervous system are damaged. The fluoride ion (F-) is extremely reactive and strongly attracted to calcium. Floridium, also known as Fd, is a new element with currently the highest atomic number of 173 and a mass of 486.9 g. Floridium is a part of the P-block and a superactinide , falling right after Neodymium (Nd). It is also highly nonpolar with Neodymium. Because it is a p orbital, it has a dumbbell shaped orbital with three possible orientations. In addition, it has an orange-brown color, is ductile and malleable, and has a boiling point of -57.8 Celsius. The element is quite rare, only found in the Southeast United States. As of 2016, Floridium has been recognized by scientists as an element.
