Meaning of Flag

Fiji is a spectacular place with unimaginable sights, but the flag tells a lot about it and its history. Their flag’s main colors are red, blue, and white. The blue background of the flag is representative of the surrounding Atlantic Ocean. In the upper left corner is the flag of Great Britain; it is on the flag to represent Fiji’s long association with Great Britain. On the right side of the flag is Fiji's coat of arms. The coat of arms depicts a yellow lion holding a cocoapod between its paws above a white field quartering by the cross of Saint George. This country has a wonderful history just in their flag so imagine how much history is in the country.

Natural Attractions
Fiji is filled with so many astonishing natural attractions that thousands of people a year come to see and visit. One of Fiji's most popular spots is called Sigatoka. Sigatoka is filled with many sand dunes right near the beach that many people love to take a walk on, and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean. The Mamanuca Islands is 20 islands located west of Nadi. Many tourists come to these islands to scuba dive, swim, surf, and see the extraordinary views. Last but not least Mount Tomanivi, located on the northside of Fiji. Tourists come here to go for a adventurous hike and of course see the view at the top. Making very interesting dishes that people love here are the most famous Fiji's most traditional food is called Kokoda. Kokoda is a fresh Mahi Mahi fish marinated in fresh squeezed lemon juice and left for several hours.
