When we arrive at where the movie was being shot, I excused myself to go to the bathroom, but actually went to the director’s trailer to let him know I had arrived. “So how do our new movie star fee tonight?” “I’m kind of nervous. I have my friends with me and none of them know I’m in this movie.” “Don’t you think you’re taking this secrecy a bit too far, Jerri? These are your friends after all.” “I know, but I couldn’t take the chance that one of them might say something by mistake.” “I applaud your dedication. Don’t worry; I won’t let the cat out of the bag. Oh, before I forget, my assistant just told me everything is set for your private wrap party. Everyone knows why you’re not making an official appearance …show more content…
at the main party, and you’ll be missed. If you can, try to think of a way to make an appearance. You can tell your friends that it would be a blast if all of you could stop in on the cast party and see about taking some pictures and get some autographs. I can tell the driver to offer to make a call to see if he can get you in. it’s up to you, but it will make a lot of people happy.” “Do you think that might work?” “Jessi, before I was an academy award winning director, I was a pretty good actor. Trust me, I can make it happen.” “Don’t you think it’ll feel kind of strange for a couple of extras…?” “With the people who show up for these things, a few more faces won’t matter. The party is being held outside, so the paparazzi won’t be a strain on security and your driver has a studio pass that says official escort. To throw off anyone not knowing who you are I’ll announce you as the extra that helped out with the final shot so the party could get started. That alone will have quite a few people thank you and draw off any suspicions your friends may have when people come up to you.” “I can tell you’re going to keep at it until I agree with coming to the wrap party.” “I did say I can make it happened.” - I hurried back to my friends in line before they decides one of them should go looking for me. At the same moment I found them, Angela had notice Parker Sanders further back in the long line of people wanting to be extras and calls him over. “I see you made it and brought a few of your friend along,” Angela said with a smirk. “Are you afraid we might attack you?” “He shouldn’t be,” Daria snickered, “but his large friend might have a problem.” “Calm down,” Marlene said, as she shook her head and held back laughing. “Angela, since you know these guys, what don’t you do a quick introduction.” “Actually, I only met Parker Sanders. Parker, these are some of my friends. This is Marlene Cherry and Daria Nelson. Guys, I’m Angela Mooney. Oh here’s our long lost leader, Jerri Woods. Jerri, come on over and meet the guys.” I almost remembered the guy out front as the one who had interrupted me trying to convince my friends to be extras, but it was the guy standing in the middle of the pack who caught my attention. Hell snatched my attention and I just couldn’t break away. “Hi, Jerri,” Parker said brightly. “I’m Parker Sanders and these are my friends. This is Lucas Chaney, the big shy guy walking wall is Russell Sutton, and this is our usual charismatic leader, Rudy Thompson. He’s a bit bent out of shape at the moment, so we are forcing him to have some fun. We had hoped that your fashion show would do the trick, but we are on to Plan B.” “What’s Plan B?” Daria asked excited. “It’s to find a group of gorgeous supermodels, tie him up, pump a few drinks in him, and let you guys tickle him until he smiles. It is either that or tie him up, shoves him into a cardboard box, and leave him outside of the Little White Chapel with a sign around his neck that say I’m looking for a home, marry me.” After the quick introduction was made and everyone got better hold of themselves from laughing hysterically, we moved down the line of people holding a clipboard and looking at driver licenses to insure the person signing the release form was who they say they were. once that was over with, we were directed to the place they needed extras to stand, hold fake conversations by moving their mouths and not making a sound, or walk back and forward like normal sidewalk traffic. Once all of us were in place as a group of people talking in a dense crowd, there was someone coming our way shouting.” “Look here, I’m the director and not you.
They should’ve been here hours ago. I’m not holding up production for such a small bit part.” “What do you suggest we do,” said the man the director was yelling at. “This is the last scene and they haven’t arrived yet.” It doesn’t matter who does it. All they have to do is take an envelope, kiss someone to hide their face from the villains tries to get the letter, and escape through the crowd. How hard can that be?” “But, Director…” “Look, this has been a long day and the actors you hired were only going to be on screen for less than thirty seconds. All they needed was someone to…,” the director stops shouting and points at me. “Excuse me, would you like to be in a movie? It’s only a bit part and there are no lines. All you have to do is take an envelope, kiss your boyfriend, and the two of you push through the crowd.” “I don’t know.” “She’ll do it,” Angela said quickly, and pulled Rudy to me. “Here’s her boyfriend.” Rudy opened his mouth to say something, but Angela poked him in his chest and whispered, “Chances like this doesn’t happen to models often. Don’t mess this up for Jerri. Don’t worry; I’m sure you’ll do fine.” “That’s not the point,” Rudy growled in return. “What if my
girlfriend…?” “What girlfriend,” Parker snarled as he moved in. “I know you’re not talking about that girl we all saw kissing her new boyfriend right before she told you never to speak to her again before she jumping into a limo laughing.” “She actually did that to you?” I asked in shock. “It’s a bit more complicated than that.” “Rudy, I know you are a nice guy after only being around you while waiting in line, but even a nice guy runs into the wrong person. I’m sorry to hear about the breakup and now I know why you seem depressed, but even if she changes her mind will it ever be the same? I’m not trying to put anyone down or toss salt, but you are far from any fish to toss back. You have a respectable job, the company you keep might be in question, but they obviously care about you, and you aren’t that hard to look at. The guy must have a lot of money, but it that was all it took for her to… break up with you, then it’s not truly a bad thing.” “So if…” “I wouldn’t break up with you for money. I’m sure there are some who are just like me and some like your ex, but isn’t it better to find out now than later?” “You do have a point, but just to kiss you without…” After I told the director we will do it, I got up on my toes and… held on tightly to Rudy when my head spun. After a breath or three, I went in again to make sure I didn’t have low blood sugar. “Ah, Jerri,” Angela called out giggling, “the director didn’t call for action yet.” “I thought we should practice for a bit, do you mind.” Everyone laughed as I dove in again and hoped… My head still spun wildly. I would’ve continued practicing, but someone from the film crew sat out two director chairs and started applying makeup on Rudy and me. We stepped into a trailer to change clothes. Rudy only asked why they had to change, and when the person giving us wardrobe said it was product placement from a sponsor, he shook his head in understanding and chuckled. His laughter stopped when I took off my shirt and jeans. “Rudy,” I giggled, “you’ll see the same thing when we meet up at the pool tomorrow. Besides, did you forget seeing me wear something just as revealing at my fashion show?” “This is different.” “Just get dressed please. We don’t want to keep everyone waiting. We are only going to be doing a small part. Let’s not take…” My tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth when he took off his shirt. Maybe this was different, but not in a bad way. When his pants came off, I knew I was getting back into the makeup chair after I’m hosed down with cold water and have one ice bag placed behind my head and the other. “I thought you wanted to hurry.” We got dressed, was back in the makeup chair (no doubt I needed it), walked through what was going to happen with everyone involved and we ran through the scene a few times (not complaining about that at all). We didn’t two takes of the kiss with us leaving through the crowd, and one shout with the crowd of extra turned around to make it look as if we had broken through and jumped into an awaiting limo. We got out, and watched as they filmed the limo drive away. Everyone clapped, and then the director said that was a wrap. He called out his thank you to everyone for doing a great job and wished them a great evening. When the limo returned, I had second thoughts about what I had asked the director to do. The director walked up to Rudy and said as a show of appreciation from the studios; we can have the use of the limo for the entire night. Not only that, he would appreciate us using a catered place that they had scheduled a small wrap party setup, but couldn’t cancel. It was paid for by the studio and would go to waste. I held back my snicker as the director winked at me as he pleaded with Rudy to help him out. He was the one who had signed for the place and he would have much to explain if it wasn’t used. I knew there was something special about this man who had appeared in my life, and it became perfectly clear when he took my hand in his. My heart stopped when Rudy looked at me and said he would accept it if I said it was alright. He wasn’t the only one doing the scene and the two of us were going to share it equally or not at all. I didn’t know what this whack job of an ex-girlfriend was, but her loss was my… “It sounds like fun,” I said quickly and took his hand. “Just don’t forget, you promised we’ll go swimming at the pool tomorrow.” I know he didn’t promise, but… “I guess our first stop is to pick out some swim trunks. I’m here for a conference this week and forgot to bring some with me. I hope we can find something not too flashy.” I barely felt Daria pinch me, but I did hear her say I’ll take him off your hands if you don’t want… she never got a chance to finish as I kissed Rudy and dragged him to the limo.
She quickly finished cleaning and went to bed to get some rest, as she lay in bed she turned on her phone and could see that her social media accounts were blowing up with the search for the mystery senior that had Tristan going crazy. The minute that he posted a tweet that said he had her cap almost everyone in the entire school had replied saying it was theirs. This made Armani laugh and thinking nothing of it she replied with a comment “wonder who’s” with that she went to

Creaking sounds from the door only stimulated Carisi’s nerves further. Automatically, he noticed Barba craned over a dining table, papers splayed out across it. The door opening set off the lawyer’s daily alarm to greet his boyfriend. This was usually followed Carisi setting his coat and scarf by the door, but in this instance he skipped that step, leaving Barba to gesture toward the coat rack. Of course, red flags went off in Barba’s mind, and these presented themselves in the form of a signature puzzled

“Don’t ya start being reckless. Besides, we don’t know if he’s got any of the others yet. Say, where’s Slim and George at?”
“Can I kill him? Can this be the end? No, it’s not going to work.”
“I’m sure Sheila, and Monica are down with that,” he says hoping to get them all on the same page. Pauses, for a moment he gives a strange look at Gretchen.
“I can’t believe I am doing this.” I say, more to myself, than Zander. “I’ll meet you there at say, 7:00 o’clock?”

As a child, I liked to watch the “behind the scenes” of a movie. My sisters and I always tried to recreate the movies I watched behind the scenes footage for – I was always the director and editor, and they were the actresses. It was around my freshmen year in school when one day I was editing a video me and my sisters had made I realized that I decided that I wanted to become a movie director. So, if I could have a ticket to go anywhere, it would be to a studio in Hollywood to direct a Hollywood movie.
In my senior year of high school, I had to persuade the owner (Skip) favorite coffee shop, MJ’s, to allow me to film there for a night. MJ’s had a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere with deep purple walls that always had local artist’s works of art hanging from them. The coffeehouse led to a wonderful theater with black walls and deep red chairs. After asking a worker if I could talk to Skip, I set up a meeting with Skip later that day. I knew I had a low chance with the tight budget we had for the short film, but the coffeehouse was the perfect location for one short scene! As I launched into my much-rehearsed speech, I found him growing more and more intrigued.
“Oh yeah! We’re going to get killed,” she added. “Don’t you think it was wrong for them to schedule our senior night with that game?”
I feel the lush red carpet underneath my elegant heels and smile as cameras rush up to snap pictures of the slow procession. I slowly walk into the large hall of my very first Hollywood premiere. A colleague of mine sweeps over with a large grin on her face.
“Well, darling are you going to sing?” She asks, with a bitter smirk. I look at the crowd, Alya grins at me. I glare at her. Well, are ya? She mouths. I look down at my red dress and grin. I’ll give them a show to
