The history of fashion trends has always had an impact on the fashion industry and cultural values across the world. The first fashion trend was known to be in the 1900s. There are millions of fashion designers throughout the world who have done the job of making clothes, and society takes over making them popular. Marline was known for the amazing outfits that she wore on stage during plays, musicals, and TV shows. Another influencer who was very influential in the fashion industry during the 1900s was Babe Paley. Babe Paley was a magazine editor who had phenomenal outfits. Everyone stared at her clothes and wanted her entire collection. Influencers back then were a lot different than the influencers we have today. Most influencers back then would not really persuade people to buy the clothing they had on; they would simply just rock their clothes every day. Today's influencers most likely are to get sponsored by the clothing brand and use an influencer app like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or even Snapchat to buy that brand of clothing. One of the most popular influencers today is Leonee Hanne. Although Leonee is a German influencer, she influenced the whole world and its fashion trends.
