In many situations, most relationships between young an adult and more older male are known as father- son type relationships aka father figures. These relationships can form when the younger adult deprives in a father figure in life. In many stories, they’re multiple portrayals of father figures are used to show how grown adults can make a huge impact to kids/ young adults; an example of a characters in a story that portray a father-son relationship, is Friar Lawrence and Romeo in the story of Romeo and Juliet. The author of this story, William Shakespeare uses diction between the Friar and Romeo and the amount of doubt shown by the Friar to Romeo to prove that the nature of Romeo and Friar Lawrence’s relationship is similar
