David's parents appeared to be in an okay mood when the QP arrived for the session.
David's mother reported, "David was being transitioned back into his regular education classroom; however, David refused to go instead he was walking around the school and when instructed to go to class he refused and I had to push him physically outside to remove him from the school with the assistance of the principal."
David's mother and father stated, "no one called and told us he was going back to his regular education classroom and if, so we would have preferred David for the transition."
David commented, "I wasn't told all week she only told me on Friday."

David made minimal progress with improving his academic performance and social functioning, as indicated by David refusing to go to class and getting angry about his parents' about their involvement with the teacher and homework.
Goal 2: David will prevent an out-of-home placement.
David's parents informed the psychiatrist about his behaviors at school yesterday as well as his behaviors in the home with being defiant, disrespectful, and having an attitude.
David reported, "I didn't want to go back to class because I thought the psychiatrist would be mad because that was not her recommendation."
The psychiatrist informed David, "I would not be mad, and I understand where the school is coming from because you are missing out of academic time."
David's parents commented, "we feel like the lunch dosage of medication is a distraction and allows David to come and go in out the classroom plus it's not working."
The psychiatrist agreed to take David off of the Focalin lunch dose and keep him on the Focalin 40mg in the morning before

Betty is resistant towards having Jake in her general classroom because she feels that Jake has more special needs that need to be attended to. However, she says that David and Jake are performing well in academics, but David seemed to be more suitable for the general class than Jake. It is because Jake is a goofy little guy who takes time before he can get organized in during class hours. If the science teachers at David’s school saw that he had some of the things he had, why did they not voice a concern to David’s parents?
