Chores
I’ll do my chores, I’ll do my chores,
I’ll dust the furniture and mop the floor.
I’ll vacuum the carpets and clean my room,
I’ll freshen the air and use the broom.
I’ll water the garden and pick the weeds,
I’ll mow the lawn and plant the seeds.
I’ll rake the leaves and rotten berries,
I’ll feed the birds and pick the cherries.
I’ll grocery shop for all the food,
I’ll cook and bake all that I could.
I’ll prepare the meals and serve the tea,
I’ll wash the dishes and dry them clean.
I’ll do the chores, to keep the house clean,
It will be cleaner than you’ve ever seen.
But if you ask me, our house is doomed,
We really should move elsewhere soon.
You said my friends can come over, they may,
You said it yourself the other day.

The trickster in Supernatural is also very similar to the god trickster Loki in the Prose Edda because of their relationship between the other gods.

Consistent in literature throughout every era and culture, archetypes represent a recurring image, pattern, or motif mirroring a typical human experience. An idea developed by Carl Jung, archetypes in literature exist as representations reflecting vital perceptions of the human psyche expressing the manner in which individuals experience the world. Using Jung’s concept, writers of all epochs embeds archetypes in structures, characters, and images of their narratives. John Gardner, in his novel Grendel, integrates several of Jung’s archetypes into his epic tale derived from the early story Beowulf. Gardner associates Jung’s personas of the outcast, the shadow, and the mentor-pupil relationship through the identities of Grendel, the narrator of events, and the dragon.
What exactly is the purpose of chores? The purpose of chores is to help teach us responsibility, how to contribute, and how to go above and beyond what is asked of us. For example, one of my daughter’s chores is to keep her room cleaned up; and take care of her things. I know that if she can keep her room clean and take care of her things, then she will be more responsible with more expensive things later on down the road.
" Neighbours used to look out for each other, but now there seems to be less and less interaction because people go out and don't bother with them, long gone is the tight-knit community of the past. It seems that her obsession with housework has been a substitute for a child, she has never got over the fact that she lost her and Wilfreds child. She would not have coped with the mess of a child. The cleaning aspect of the monologue is to teach us that real life is messy and cannot be tidied. To show that this character has not really grown up and moved on her childhood.
An archetype in literature is defined as a typical example of a certain type of person. A character in a poem or play can be placed into many different archetype categories. Do the poem Beowulf and the novel Grendel leave Grendel's archetype undefined? In Beowulf by Seamus Heaney, Grendel's archetype was the monster. Carl Jung was a disciple of Sigmund Freud, despite the two having conflicting ideas. One of Jung’s most well known and accepted theories was the existence of different types of archetypes in the brain. These include the ego, which is where our conscious awareness and sense of identity reside, and the shadow, which is the part of the unconscious mind consisting of repressed weaknesses, shortcomings, and instincts. In the novel A Separate Peace, by John Knowles, the protagonist Gene exemplifies the shadow, while his friend, Finny, personifies the ego. The author narrates through the shadow, though he clearly supports the ego. However, he also makes it apparent that it is wrong to be dominated by either archetype.

Today was one of the hardest days of my life since I’ve been living here on the plantation in Virginia. I rose at 5 am, read a few chapters in Hebrew while I drinking my morning milk for breakfast. I then made my way to the cookhouse to help Millie, our cook, ration the food for the week’s meals. It is very hot outside at this time in the Province of Virginia, and The cookhouse or kitchen was almost always in a separate building in the South until modern times, sometimes connected to the main house by a covered walkway. I do not know which season I dislike more, winter or summer. This is a hard task in itself because as the Mistress of the house, I am responsible for making sure our kitchen garden and field crops produce enough food
