C.Touch Screen A touch screen is an electronic visual display that the user can control through simple or multi-touch hand signs by touching the screen with one or more hand fingers. Some touch screens can also detect visual signals or video signals. The user can use the touch screen to react to what is displayed and to control how it is displayed (for example by zooming the text size). The touch screen enables the deaf and dumb people to interact directly with what is displayed, rather than using any one of the keypad device, or any other intermediate device. Touch screens are common in devices such asplaying game consoles, computers, tablet computers, and phones. They can also be attached to computers or as terminals to networks. They also play a prominent role in the design of digital appliances such as personal digital assistants (PDAs), satellite navigation devices, mobile phones. The popularity of smart phones, tablets, and many types of information appliances is driving the demand and acceptance of common touch screens for portable and functional electronics. Touch screens are found in the medical field and industry, as well as for automated teller machines (ATMs). C.Memory Card A memory card is an electronic flash memory data storage device used for storing digital signal. They are commonly used in many electronic devices, such as smart mobile phones, laptop systems, MP3 audio systems and video game modules. They are small, re-recordable such as re-producible, and able to retain data without power. According to Martin, C. (2011) the consumers have already experienced the first and second screen revolutions in the past decades and are now in the middle of the third screen revolution.
Technology Is What You Make It The articles “How Computers Change the Way We Think” by Sherry Turkle and “Electronic Intimacy” by Christine Rosen argue that technology is quite damaging to society as a whole and that even though it can at times be helpful it is more damaging. I have to agree and disagree with this because it really just depends on how it is used and it can damage or help the user. The progressing changes in technology, like social media, can both push us, as a society, further and closer to and from each other and personal connections because it has become a tool that can be manipulated to help or hurt our relationships and us as human beings who are capable of more with and without technology. Technology makes things more efficient and instantaneous.
Technology impacts people’s lives every day, for some more than others. Technology has impacted people in numerous ways. It impacts people and businesses all around the world.
Technology has shaped America in many ways from developing complex computer systems available to the everyday people to being able to track weather patterns across the world. Without technology, we certainly would not be where we are today as a high tech society. A lot of this technology came from World War II. During World War II, the atomic bomb prevailed making it the most high tech weapon in history. Radar equipment was also produced, as well as medicines to prevent diseases, nutrition research, high horsepower jet engines to power aircraft, and the V-1 and V-2 rockets. Through all of this technology, World War II was known as the first high technology war.
during the late 20th century, mankind hit an unprecedented surge of technological advancement and innovation. From the 1980s onward, our level of technology- especially communication-based technologies- increased exponentially year by year, giving us inventions (and their subsequent additions) such as the mobile cell phone, the Internet, email, instant message and social media platforms. In fact, the advent of the Internet and social media has created a smaller, wired world wherein an individual can communicate with someone from across the world in the blink of an eye.
Almost everyone attends a school at one time in their life whether the classroom includes technology or not. Research shows that technology isn’t used as often as one might think. The article, “High Access and Low use of technology in High School Classrooms” illustrates the use of technology by stating that only one in ten of elementary and middle school teachers are daily users of computers (Cuban, Kirkpatrick, Peck). Most schools now have classrooms that use technology throughout the entire class time and even at home to do homework. Although some people might agree with the use of technology in class, it is more harmful to the students than useful. It can cause many distractions, it can be difficult to use and can take away from learning time.

Technology today is very widespread; it has become extremely accessible and easy to use. So easy, that some children begin using technology before they are even in school. There are many benefits of technology, but only if it is used properly. Children that use technology too frequently and at too young of an age suffer from altered brain function, subpar education, and decreased social skills.

Technology is the way which extends humans ability. It is very difficult to obtain a precise definition of technology. It is generally accepted that "technology" is more than just a collection of physical products of science. "Technology" is the link between society and its tools.
To begin with, before anyone can develop an opinion as to whether technology is a useful tool in the classroom, one needs to understand that technology plays an important role in today’s world. However, the use or over-use of technology in educating young children in teaching literacy to young children is a much debated theory. There are many opinions regarding the positive influence technology can have as a useful tool in the classroom, yet there are those, like myself, who also see the negative aspect of too much technology.
The very first iPhone was announced by the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, in 2007. His vision was to reinvent the phone. iPhones have revolutionized smartphones and have shaped the cell phone industry into what it is today. On January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs put together an incredible keynote presentation. He stated that he would be “introducing a wide-screen ipod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone, and a breakthrough Internet device” (Ritchie, 2015). The audience assumed that this meant that Mr. Jobs would be launching three separate devices. However, it was only one device, the iPhone. Within the past 7 years, Apple has been able to tweak its iPhones by incorporating major redesigns. These redesigns use combinations
Technology has rapidly changed over the years and has expanded our infrastructure greatly. In particular, as technology advances the education system adapts to the many changes. The world of technology brings about many new improvements and shows no sign of slowing down. Many people spend their day to day lives utilizing the great aspects of technology doing almost anything imaginable. Through technology teachers and students can connect and expound upon the many fields of education. Technology is an ever growing aid in education that has increased awareness, communication, and accessibility. How is technology shaping education? The uses of mobile devices and applications have shown a great influence in the education system.
Since the beginning of time, our survival depended on adapting to change. Whether it was adjusting from hot to cold weather or learning how to farm and grow your own food. Technology is not necessarily a computer or an iPod; technology can be a spear to hunt or a can opener. It basically makes our way of life easier. In todays society we need technology to fulfill our daily objectives. Staying up to date in a rapidly changing world of technology is almost impossible. Looking at how technology has evolved since I was a child has blown my mind away. Although I am tech savvy, I feel like in the future, I am going to be just like my grandparents when my mom introduced them to the VCR. To the younger generation the device was simple and self-explanatory, my grandparents were puzzled, helpless and required to call technical support just to figure out how to turn on the VCR. The 1990s were a time where globalization reached its peak, and when science and technology started growing tremendously. That decade contributed to some of the most significant scientific findings and technological inventions in history. Now that I am an expert in technology I am able to compare and contrast the technology from 20 years ago to todays modern technology. The cell phone in your pocket today practicality does everything it took 10 devices to do in the 90s.Your cell phone is a CD player, hand held game, beeper and a television. In such a short period of time technology has developed with celerity. There are three major inventors that play significance in history that has changed the world with their inventions. They enhanced our productivity, how we communicate and how we share information.
