Introduction
Retail is the sale of goods and services from individual or business to the end user. Retailers are part of an integrated system called the supply chain. A retailer purchases goods and products in large quantities from manufacturers directly or through a wholesaler, and then sells smaller quantities to the consumer for a profit. Retailing can be done either in fixed locations or online. Retailing includes subordinated services, such as delivery. The term “Retail” is also applied when a service provider services the needs of a large number of individuals, such as a public utility, like electric power.
Shops may be on residential streets, streets with few or no houses or in a shopping mall. Shopping streets may be for pedestrian only. Sometime a shopping street has a partial or fully roof to protect customers from precipitation. Online retailing, a type of electronic commerce used for Business-to –Consumer (B2C) transactions and mail orders, are forms of non-shop retailing.
Shopping generally refers to the act of buying products. Sometimes this is done to obtain necessities such as food and clothing. Sometimes it is done as a recreational activity. Recreational shopping often involves window shopping (just looking, not buying) and browsing and does not always result in a purchase.
Retail design is a creative and commercial discipline that combine several different areas of expertise together in the design and construction of retail space. Retail design is primarily a specialized practice of architecture and interior design, however it also incorporates elements of interior decoration, industrial Design, Graphic Design, Ergonomics and advertising.

This rise made retail design shift to compensate for increased customer and alternative focuses. Many retail design stores redesigned themselves over the period of keep up with changing consumer tastes. These changes resulted on one side with the creation of multiple “expensive, one-off design shops” catering to specific fashion designers and retailers.
The rise of the Internet and Internet retailing in the latter part of the 20th century and into the 21st century saw another change in retail design to compensate. Many different sectors not related to the Internet reached out to retail design and its practices to lure online shoppers back to physical shops, where retail design can be properly utilized.

Shopping is something that has to be done whether you enjoy it or not to get essentials needed. We all go places where merchandize is being sold for a specific reason. Whether you go to the mall, shopping centers, or your local grocery store, you 'll always encounter many types of shoppers. Shopping isn’t always as fun as it sounds to everyone, but it is something we often do. This is the only way we get products we need, by personally buying them. You have three main shoppers including impulse buyers, list makers, and bargain hunters.
Everyone likes shopping, but everyone has their own way of spending when they go shopping. I love shopping, but I hate being at the mall, if I don’t need to be there then I won’t be there. I’ve noticed that when I have money, I do not buy anything, and when I do not have money I want everything I see. From my experience I’ve observed that there are people who shop smart, people who are just plain addicted to shopping, people who join another person while shopping, basically called window watchers.
Online retail and shopping sales has been growing consistently every year, not just in the US but worldwide. Not only does online shopping give customers more convenience, more variety, and more discreetness but it also gives customers better prices. While it is quite true that Wal-Mart has product variety and cheap prices – things customers want – the physical stores do not really give the convenience and discreteness that online retail and shopping does.
