The Los Angeles Rams are my favorite football team. The Rams first stared in Cleveland in 1936. The Rams joined the NFL in 1946, when they moved to Los Angeles. The Rams would play there games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum between 1946-1979. The Rams then moved to Anaheim Stadium{now known as Angel Stadium of Anaheim} from 1980-1994.
In 1994-2016 the Rams where in St.Louis. In 2016 the Rams moved back to Los Angeles. Right now they are playing at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. They are having a new stadium being toileted. The new $2.66 billion stadium is in Inglewood. The stadium is due to be completed in time for the 2019-2020 NFL season.
The reason for the move was twofold. First, the NFL's blackout rule forbade games from being shown on local television if the did not sell out within 72 hours of the opening kickoff. The Coliseum seated only 92,604 at the time, it was possible to sell that many tickets even in the Rams best years. So most of the Rams home games where blacked out.

Dan Reeves was the owner of the Rams from 1946-1971.
Reeves is the one that moved the Rams from Cleveland to Los Angeles. In 1979 the Rams made there first super bowl appearance. The Rams did not win. The Rams won there first supper bowl in 2000. They played the Tennessee Titans. The score was Rams 23 Titans 16.
In the 1980 the Rams posted an 11-5 record, but only managed a wild card where they lost to the Cowboys. 1982 was the worst record ever for the Rams 2-7.
The most notable player for the Rams during 1983-1985 was running back Eric Dickerson. He was drafted in 1983 out of SMU and won rookie of the year.
During the 1990's the rams losses where piling up and the team was seen as playing uninspired football. By 1994 the support for the Rams had withered to the point where they were barely partof the Los Angeles sport landscape. The first half of the 1990's featured four straight 10-loss
seasons. While in St. Louis the Rams played their first few home games at Busch Memorial Stadium while the Trans World dome{now known as the Dome at America's Center}. The new stadium was completed during the middle of the 1995 season. Between 1999-2004 the Rams qualified for the playoffs in five out of those six seasons. During this time the Rams did win there first super bowl. Other then that period of success, the St Louis Rams repeatedly suffered losing seasons. On January 5,2015 the LA Times reported that Stan Kroenke and Stockbridge Capital Group are partnering up in developing a new NFL stadium on the Inglewood property. The project will include a stadium of 80,000 seats. I am happy that the Rams are back in LA. I plan to go to a game with my uncle who is also a Rams fan.
“The Green Bay Packers are a non-profit corporation held by the citizens of Green Bay to run it’s football team”,who I think are the best, arguably are the most storied franchise in the National Football League, were organized on Aug,11, 1919, in the dingy second-floor editorial rooms of the old Green Bay Press-Gazette building, located on Cherry Street in downtown Green Bay. Never imagining what might become of the semipro football team being formed that day, nobody documented who was there or how many were on hand. There had been no announcement of the meeting beforehand, and the Press-Gazette provided no details about it the day after.Whether a full complement of players attended or if it was simply a
It is the reason fans fill the stadiums or turn them into ghost towns. If you were to look up success in the NFL one would probably see a picture of the Patriots. Six trips to the Super Bowl, fourteen winning records, and making the playoffs fourteen out of fifteen times within a fifteen year period are all hallmarks of their success. Comparing that to the Cowboys’ one playoff win, zero Super Bowl appearances, and five winning records within that same time span really shows which team has enjoyed more

Prior to the current stadium, the Cowboys’ home was one of the most recognizable professional sports stadiums of its time. According to Stadiums of Pro Football, “Texas Stadium, seated nearly 66,000 fans and was known for its partial roof where weather conditions could play a factor in each game,” (Page 1). Stated in the official Irving, Texas fact sheet pertaining to Texas Stadium “the stadium was constructed at a cost of 35 million and lasted from its opening date in 1971 until it was closed in December of 2008,” (Page 2). The new stadium built to replace Texas Stadium in 2009 named Cowboys Stadium, is luxurious to say the least, not to mention it is practically brand new. Altough 4 years later reported by Star Telegram, “Cowboys Stadium would now be known as AT&T Stadium under a multimillion-dollar naming-rights deal between the iconic football team and the Dallas-based ...

Football is by all means an American sport. Since the day a baby is born in America whether it be a boy or a girl, one of the first words they learn to say is ball, and after a few months they add the word foot in front of the word ball, and by the time you know it your baby boy is playing football, and your little girl is cheering “Go Steeler’s go!” and without intention their cultural identity starts. As far back as I can remember, every year, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends would gather at my family’s home to watch this event called theSuper Bowl. It was something that could not be missed, because if you did you were considered a lost cause.
