Political system is related with the country’s structure or affairs of government. Majority of countries has parties like Conservative, Liberal, Socialist, Labour and etc. And all these parties have their own ideas and beliefs and also have their specific way to communicate with citizens and their fans. Equally, people need to communicate with politicians too. There is a digital media which helps to share the ideas with each other.
Naturally beliefs in manifesto there were social, cultural and locational contexts. One of them is equality between genders. There is a really big problem with that in all society because men have more benefits than women and it is not fear. The fight between gender equality started since late 19th century early

Politicians choose soft news because they know that they can achieve people who aren’t reach in traditional news media (Taniguchi 2011). Meaning of that all news are lighthearted or not serious. It is a plan to attract more people in different ways. Television shows, projects, a lot of events where politics want to get more sympathy for people. Moreover, political entertainment will be like performance, it is like an activity which concerned with participation, alternatives, implementation. The representation of politics on television can be seen as provoking the ‘affective intelligence’ that is vital to keep political involvement and activity going (Zoonen 2004). Politicians, parties are racing which get more votes from electorates so they need publicity and it is a reason why they participate in television’s shows and not serious …show more content…
Politicians have to do that due to votes and support, citizens because of wish to be heard and understood with their ideas and beliefs. There are a lot of options to interact because digital media helps. Blogging, a lot of social networking services as Facebook, Twitter can help you to express your thoughts and opinion. It is a chance to share your information with other people. For instance, my group and I did with our manifesto about equality. We shared our work with people who agree with our beliefs. Also, no one can forget that there are some privacy and surveillance laws which is not favourable for society because it can make a lot of troubles. As a result, politicians are engage with different digital platforms and are enable diversity in political
Today, women and men have equal rights, however, not long ago men believed women were lower than them. During the late eighteenth century, men expected women to stay at home and raise children. Women were given very few opportunities to expand their education past high school because colleges and universities would not accept females. This was a loss for women everywhere because it took away positions of power for them. It was even frowned upon if a woman showed interest in medicine or law because that was a man’s place, not a woman’s, just like it was a man’s duty to vote and not a woman’s.
The first example that was discussed was the radio. Before the radio, the people of America got information pertaining to politics via newspaper. The information they got was always written down. When the radio was invented, they people could hear the politicians giving speeches and could hear the emotion in their voice. With the addition of being able to hear the emotion, the people would be more inclined to back what the speaker is saying more than if they were to just read it on a newspaper. The next invention that changed politics was the television. With the television, people were able to see the politicians as if they were near them. Now the people can see the politicians and their appearance. With social media, the politicians’ personality is what’s being looked at. Instead of the normal politician personality, their personalities have to stand out or grab attention. Also, social media is short so the speeches that politicians say have to be shortened and have be
Propaganda is information that is biased to promote one point of view. Propaganda is mostly used during political campaigns. It is one of the most widely used and effective political tactics. It gives its user the opportunity to move people to action in both positive and negative ways, by either bringing fame or shame to a selected person or idea. Propaganda is used to sell a candidate or a belief to the public, by ruining the opponent’s chances of winning, or by falsely advertising an idea of their own as better than one of their opponents.
“ Television often provides politicians with more attention turning them into more celebrity than politician” (Hart). This holds some truths in some situations television does over publicize some politicians , but this always is not a bad thing. The modern day politician is suppose to receive a plethora of attention due to their important public figure. Some television networks do sway towards parties , but not all of them. If anything a viewer can watch the network that reports exclusively on his or her interest rather than the interests of the people from another political party. When placed under this public spotlight the true character of the politician is revealed , and the public can get to know them in depth. “Politicians have the choice to abuse their public figure to derive attention or use it for acts of good” (Bazalgette) . This ultimately comes down to the morals of who we chose to represent us. Television plays an important part but at the end of the day if a politician is gonna mislead the public he will do it. Television acts as a checker to make sure the public cannot be fooled so easily. Above all television has helped propel our modern day society into realms that were before thought to be impossible to

In the current time, it seems like one cannot go a day without using at least one social media website. This might be especially true among groups of teenagers and young adults. Social media became a vital part of daily life that feeds people with several types of information constantly. Political news is a type of information that can reach the people through the means of social media. Since presidents are constantly seeking new strategies to increase their communication with the public in order to spread their political message, they utilize the different social media websites. Hence, social media became a platform to spread political message. It is not surprising that now the majority of political officials and candidates have social media accounts more than ever before, such as a Twitter account.
At this point, the difference perspective in ideology and political action has divided the women movement into some feminism types; socialist, Marxist, radical, liberal and many others. While liberal feminist focus their struggle for equality on civil, economic, and political rights, and education, the feminist socialist and Marxist believe women 's oppression is “the product of the political, social and economic structure within which individuals live.” (Tong, 1998: pp.94). Although some other people suppose that the feminist Marxist and socialist is quiet different, but both of them believe the source of women oppression are capitalism and patriarchy. The Marxist feminism is rooted in 19th century thinker such as Marx and Engels, whether
Society has long since considered women the lessor gender and one of the most highly debated topics in society through the years has been that of women’s equality. The debates began over the meaning between a man and woman’s morality and a woman’s rights and obligations in society. After the 19th Amendment was sanctioned around 1920, the ball started rolling on women’s suffrage. Modern times have brought about the union of these causes, but due to the differences between the genetic makeup and socio demographics, the battle over women’s equality issue still continues to exist. While men have always held the covenant role of the dominant sex, it was only since the end of the 19th century that the movement for women’s equality and the entitlement of women have become more prevalent. “The general consensus at the time was that men were more capable of dealing with the competitive work world they now found themselves thrust into. Women, it was assumed, were unable to handle the pressures outside of the home. They couldn’t vote, were discourages from working, and were excluded from politics. Their duty to society was raising moral children, passing on the values that were unjustly thrust upon them as society began to modernize” (America’s Job Exchange, 2013). Although there have been many improvements in the changes of women’s equality towards the lives of women’s freedom and rights in society, some liberals believe that women have a journey to go before they receive total equality. After WWII, women continued to progress in there crusade towards receiving equality in many areas such as pay and education, discrimination in employment, reproductive rights and later was followed by not only white women but women from other nationalities ...
Politics, although a very abhorred profession, is a necessity for society, and requires good leaders who make good political decisions for their constituents. Unfortunately, there is always a negative connotation associated with politicians, as they are usually seen as corrupt, lying, and scheming people. There are many dif...
It is proven that gender equality is very vital and fundamental since it is considered an effective way of addressing democracy and also promoting lasting economic growth. It is one of the founding principles of European Unions and even its future building block. This has therefore led to various causes in respect to equality between men and women since women are seen to be achieving more in education and also actively participating in the labor force than ever before. One of the causes of growing gender equality between men and women is that men and women are still seen to remain as an elusive goal. This has therefore changed the mindset of the society over a significant period to view them as equal parties.
From the beginning of time people practiced an idea of political culture; the “setting of attitudes and practices held by people that help shape their political behavior including moral judgments and ideas that makes for a good society” (Sparknotes). American political culture is based on the basic ideas of political culture, in that American political culture “subscribes to general ideas including liberty, equality, democracy, individualism, unity, and diversity; although not all Americans share the same values, a vast majority abide by this idea” (Sparknotes). Our founding fathers based the U.S Constitution on the idea of political culture in trying to make good for society, the founding fathers wanted to develop a system that tailored to
The changes in social media implied that many people got in touch with the political candidates either directly or indirectly. The people watched their potential leaders of the nation and were able to question them (Mutz 2001).
Throughout history, there have been constant power struggles between men and women, placing the male population at a higher position than the female. Therefore, in this patriarchal system women have always been discriminated against simply due to the fact that they are women. Their rights to vote, to be educated and essentially being treated equally with men was taken away from them and they were viewed as weak members of society whose successes depend on men. However, this has not prevented them from fighting for what they believe in and the rights they are entitled to. On the contrary, it has motivated them to try even harder and gain these basic societal rights through determination and unity.
Their reportage selection is politically important because they determine who and what will have a good opportunity to be the center for political debates and activity. News people with their stories compel political leaders to react to events and conditions on which their viewpoints and platforms would not have been transmitted otherwise. Without media attention, events that the media news offer and the society might have less impact on decision making—or none at all. Situations that might be accepted in unimportant events, they can become intolerable in the fierce of publicity. Consider the case of Senator Lott’s salute at Strom Thurmond’s birthday party. Without the public exposure of a particular private situation, Lott’s politi¬cal failure and its consequence would not have occurred. Politicians are heavily aware of the media’s agenda-setting power. That is why they strive immensely to organize and arrange events to give as much appropriate coverage as possible and to avoid detrimental publicity.
They educate, formulate and organize public opinions. They also help raising political consciousness of the public, who cannot understand current political issues otherwise. Political parties approach people by organizing public rallies and press conferences on important matters and state their views clear. Through these meetings, the common citizens get to know about the social, economic, and political condition of the country. They are made aware of their voting rights. Furthermore, political parties help the public examine the pros of cons of current political matters. Amit Goel argues that this process leads to organize and formulate public opinion on important issues.
