Today we live in a world where we can't have basic social media pages without worrying about what may happen by simply adding someone or messaging someone back. We can't leave our homes without worrying about what may happen to it while we’re gone. We can't even go places without watching our backs in fear of what may happen to us. Do you know what plays a big part in that? Can you take a guess? If you guessed gang affiliation you're right. Gang affiliation has become one of the biggest problems in the US. There are a total of 1,150,00 million gang members in the US. There are 24,250 thousand street and prison gangs in the US. About 40% are under the age of 18, and about 8% are females. Gangs do not discriminate, whether you're male or female if you're willing to put the work in you can be initiated into the gang. Gangs do a lot of crazy things whether it’s from drug trafficking, to robbery to theft. Recently there has been a lot of incidents having to do with houses being set on fire, females being sexually assaulted, and people getting assaulted. All of these things happening are tied to the gangs in the us’s actions. Because of this people have died, or have been placed in mental institutes. They go out of their way to set their enemy- an opposite gangs houses on fire. They wait until the houses are vacant and then they break through the back door or a back window and spread gasoline all over the house. Before they light the house on fire they disable all of the smoke alarms so the sprinklers won't be set off. The goal is for the house and items in the house to be completely demolished.After they do this they set the house on fire.They use old cars that are abandoned that they don't care about to block out cars.
