Some of the things our team did to lead to our success analysis of the data we received both about our company and our competitors. Adjustments were made based on the feedback we received about competitive strengths and weakness and competitor actions. For example, we adjusted advertising budgets, increasing SQ, number of models produced, adding capacity, and of course pricing, corporate responsibility while meeting our benchmarks for investor expectations EPS, ROE, stock price, credit rating, and image rating (until the last three weeks where we did not meet ROE, but still ended with a weighted average of 15.2). We were careful about adding capacity, however we did not start adding capacity soon enough at the Asian plant. Resulting in having to add capacity to the North American plant which was not cost friendly considering it was a more expensive plant to run and affected our ROE. In retrospect, we should have increased capacity in Asia sooner and considered constructing a plant in Latin

I am interested in the Administrative Assistant position in your department at the CMBN. After searching for opportunities, I came across this job posting and was very intrigued. This position offers me the opportunity to use the business skills I possess, while allowing me to become acquainted with a new field of study such as Neuroscience. It would also prepare me for my own path, while being able to view tasks from a different prospective. With my Associate's in Business from Hudson County Community College, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude,
Customer value is analyzed by market segments and product line using tools and the collected data produces product line strategies (Cargill Corn Milling, 2008). On the other hand, Nestle Purina has several supporting processes, critical to their goal for achieving customer value and sustained financial success (Nestle Purina, 2010). For example, Nestle Purina Organizational Questionnaire (OCQ) process of taking the voice of the customer and deploying it to employees and their behavior has been refined and improved numerous times over the last several years (Nestle Purina, 2010). This and various other processes go through multiply cycles of improvement prior to the process is agreed upon by management and leadership. Lockheed Martin, has adopted 7 to 20 Lean Six Sigma (LSS) program teams to develop innovative solutions for customer value and cost control (Lockheed Martin, 2012). They also monitor and control program and product cost through Program Performance Measurement Process (PPMP) which consist of five key areas of program management to provide reporting data. This process is reviewed by various levels of management, customers and suppliers at least monthly to identify any potential issues that could impact their ability to meet cost projections (Lockheed
Management made mistakes in its predictions at a few different points throughout this case. Firstly, upper management did not appear to take concerns from a lower-level supervisor seriously. First-level supervisors are often times the only individuals within the supervisory chain of command who the employees have a personal relationship with (Fallon & McConnell, 2007). The employees felt comfortable enough with their first-level supervisor to report these union related activities, and their report should have at a minimum been considered as a viable possibility. It appears that upper-level management was so out of tune with its workforce that they did not initially consider unionization activities as a possibility.
Another management technique is Performance Improvement tools. When developing an improvement project, various diagnostic tools are used to detect the causes of undesirable performance and to design solutions. Do not confuse performance improvement models with the analytic tools used throughout an improvement project. The author provided the analogy for example, “think of the improvement model as the recipe for instance, the steps you follow when baking a cake. Analytic tools are the ingredients the materials you use while following the recipe. When baking a cake, you want to use the correct ingredients and add them to the cake mixture at the right time.” The same was accurate for the analytic tools used during an improvement project (Health Administration Press, 2013).
