In both the stories of the book, Gatsby and the road not taken, it teaches me to not rush myself, to make the wrong mistake. In Gatsby he uses his money to prove to everyone who he wants them to think he is, but not the real him. In the road not taken the character is going through a rough time making a choose of whether he should take the road less traveled by. In both the stories the main character makes chooses that change there life’s and their stories. By making a hard choose of weather to date Nikes friend’s wife, Gatsby cause trouble for himself. In my Life I had to make chooses similar to that. I wanted to make friends so I saw how people would make friends, like following the same road, but I wanted to be different so I meet people different like inviting them to eat and paying for their foods. I choose this road and ended up having friends and it also made all the difference. On the poem the road not taken the character choose the road less traveled by. Instead of risking your life I would be smart to follow the path that will lead you to wear you need to be at without risking their lives. However by following the same path you may not lead up to nowhere and feel stuck on the moment of choosing. When I can’t make a choose fast I intend to make a mistake.
