Benefial of Studying Abroad

Nowadays, studying abroad has become a trend. Every year, many parents send their children overseas for study. Because most parents think that overseas university has better quality than in their own country.
Because it is supported by the advance of technology. Beside that flight ticket is getting cheaper, from the internet we can easily get information about the university abroad, and also there are many agents that help students do registration. According to “Open Doors” survey, The number of international students at U.S. universities increased 7.2 percent in 2012-13 to an all-time high of 819,644 (Inside Higher ED,2013) . They also think that studying abroad will guarantee a better future like easier for their child to get a job and a higher salary. Beside that, parents feel proud if they manage to send their children abroad. They even usually brag about it to other people. To studying abroad means that we have to leave home without parents, we have to learn how to do housework ourself and take care ourself. We will enter a totally new environment and atmosphere. It can provide chances and great environment to study and learn new cultures.

Even though the access to study abroad is easier today, some people are still do not interest to study overseas. Generally their reason is because of financial reason, homesick, safety, afraid of inability to adapt with the culture of the destination country, problem with language. And they do not have friends to accompany them to go study overseas together. Last but not least is about confidence of the student itself.
