A college degree is not the only way to become successful in today’s society. Trade schools are becoming more popular in lieu of a college degree. An applicant’s work experience can potentially overshadow another applicant’s education level. In addition, being acquainted with manager of organization can help someone with job placement. Therefore, a college degree is not necessary in today’s job market. Trade schools offer a wide range of technical skills including automotive, carpentry, plumbing, and health care. Some trade schools assist in job placement after graduation. People often stay more focused in class, while learning a trade/skill they find interesting. Moreover, they will save money and time because they know what job they want. Most trade school only last a few months. However, a Bachelors Degree usually takes four years to obtain from a university or college.
