Eric Berry “The Fifth Dimension” “Fear nothing attack everything, that’s kind of how I did the thing,” said Eric Berry(Kissel). Eric Berry is a 5-time all-pro Safety for the Kansas City Chiefs and many people considered one of the best to ever play. In the summer of 2015, only a few weeks away from the regular season he announced his attention to play in 2015. Despite the fact he was strong enough to beat cancer many critics argued that he would never be as good as he was before and may not even be a starter, he quickly shut them up by having one of the best seasons in his career in which he helped his team to the

Throughout Gary Crew’s novel, ‘Strange Objects’, the author suggests that history’s repetitious nature, racism and the supernatural can only lead to situations in which many complications occur. Strange Objects represents these issues in a number of imaginative ways, such as paralleling factual events with fictional events. Gary Crew is Australia’s most awarded author for children and young adults. His novel, Strange Objects, has also won some accolades, due to its engaging nature, such as Winner of the Australian Children’s Book Council, Book of the Year for Older Readers and the 1991 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award.
I'm not so sure that Floyd Dell's work, Intellectual Vagabondage would be so important to me if I hadn't come across it halfway through high school when I was ready to have some illusions blown away. I came across it at a Goodwill or Salvation Army, I forget which. There it was, hiding among all the Reader's Digest Condensed Books and suchlike, just waiting to twist my head around.

From Roswell to Dreamland Are we alone in the universe? This has been a common question in modern day. Then he was a sailor. It is very difficult to prove that extraterrestrials exist. However, the snares are still a bit snare.
Hey you, Yeah… YOU! Would you want to live in a society where you live in a box for your entire life, and mean absolutely nothing to the just about anyone? For science right? NOPE! Obviously, Societies fall as a result of a corrupt government, Failing Social Structure, and Sickness. It is due to these factors that many great societies such as Greece, Rome, and the society depicted in the book Maze Runner fall.
In this essay “Hidden Intellectualism” Gerald Graff, is one of the coauthors of this book and is a professor in English and education, at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Graff argues that many of his audience generally associate “book smarts” with intellectualism, and “street smarts” with anti-intellectualism. However, in this essay, it suggests that being street smart can be united with the academic community. It provides arguments and points that show how being involved in non-academic matters such as sports, fashion, and music can help an individual develop his or her academic way of thinking. When thinking in such a manor can develop arguments and counterarguments, analyzing situations, and applying one 's thoughts on the subject
Metaphysics, in summary, is “a division of philosophy that is concerned with the fundamental nature of reality and being and that includes ontology, cosmology, and often epistemology.” Metaphysical questions are always being asked, whether intentional or not. Many books, films, and T.V shows have raised metaphysical questions. The film Pleasantville raises the metaphysical question of the existence of a possible world. A possible world is what the world as we know today could have been or might have been like. In this film, possible worlds could exist. Protagonist David and his sister Jennifer are sucked into a world where there is no violence, no sexuality, no corruption, etc. Everything in this world is pleasant. This is a possibility of
In the book, “Across the Universe,” The main idea is to fight for what one believes is right. The main idea isn’t obvious in the beginning of the book, but as the plot continues, it becomes clear that the two main characters are fighting for what they know is right.
Children are the Future. There’s times where you just sometimes lose motivation for learning, am I right? We don’t realize how much our globalized world is changing and how this might affect us. According to, The World Is Flat by Thomas L. Friedman, our world has changed and it’s becoming flat. We are all competing for jobs and those jobs that were able to get without further education are now being sent to other countries.
2001: A Space Odyssey is just that: a long wandering voyage of the body and mind. Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clark collaborated brilliantly. In examining both works, the film and the novel, there are certainly differences, yet the theme and overall idea coincide thoroughly. That this was made in the 1960's augments both accomplishments. The visuals, seen in 2004, are still captivating. What they must've seemed like in 1968! I flout those who received this movie poorly in those days. Would I have received it as well without having a preconceived idea of its greatness? I can only hope I would have known what I was watching.
Place and Placelessness is an adaptation of Edward Relph’s 1973 doctoral dissertation on Geography. Relph was a doctoral student at the University of Toronto in the early 1970’s. His topic of a sense of place was not his initial topic. Initially it concerned the relationship between Canadian national identity and the symbolic landscapes of Canada. But he allegedly became frustrated with the topic because of the lack of philosophical references to a comprehensive definition and understanding of space.
"Forms of life resemble what I call, 'realities'. Forms of life are always form of life forming. Realities are always realities becoming" (Mehan & Wood, Five Features of Reality, 65). What is Reality? Is reality what everyone believes in or does everyone have his or her own reality? Can your reality change what you believe in? Is reality a belief, or is it what you believe in your reality? Can your reality be right or wrong?
I believe that the meaning of life is to love and care for others despite their imperfections. It’s hard to imagine how God can love his children who are nothing but horrid, disgusting, and filthy. Everyone craves love, but even though, we chose not to give love. Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short in the glory of God.” I am sure that mostly everyone including myself has experienced the cold heartedness we possess when it comes to loving another person who is not perfect. Maybe it is your spouse who you are having a troublesome time loving, perhaps your own mother, a co-worker, your best friend or even your neighbor. The reason why it is hard for us to love imperfect people is because we ourselves are imperfect. Although some
Stephen Hawking has been hailed as one of the most brilliant theoretical physicists since Albert Einstein. Hawking originally studied at Oxford University in England studying physics even though he would have preferred math. He moved onto Cambridge University to work on his PhD in cosmology. Hawking's career has focused upon the cosmic entities known as black holes, and has extended to specialized areas such as quantum gravity, particle physics, and supersymmetry.
