Equal Pay: I believe we should have equal pay for equal work.In the past there might have been some injustice, but now it is more honest. Equal pay is when you get paid for doing the same exact job, not working for the same company. If a business analyst is sitting at a desk for Ford, they aren’t going to be paid the same as an engineer who makes the frames of the cars. Also the quality of the product could affect your paycheck. Why would a company pay the same for a bad working employee when they could pay a good quality worker. Dangerous and safe jobs also have different wages. A construction worker will mostly likely be paid more than a waiter at a restaurant. This is due to an appeal to take the job. If a lazy employee is not helping customers, they should be paid less than someone who is working to help customers.Also people can’t assume that they will be paid as much as a manager if they just started working a job. Managers have worked hard to get to their position, or your boss trusts their work ethic. If workers wish to be paid more that also causes a problem. The company also has to make money. If a company is spending a lot of money on their employees , they will need to raise the price of their products. Which, as a result, will make consumers less likely to use that company as a service. If an older worker wants a bigger paycheck , they can’t work at a Mcdonald’s. There is only so much a single job has to offer. A fast food job is meant to be a starter job for a teenager. Minimum wage jobs have a strict pay limit, they won’t pay $10, which is a decent pay for a family. If you don’t have a college or high school education, you won’t be able to get a very high paying job. Which means;no expensive clothes, no expensive cars, most likely a small apartment, and not going to nice restaurants every
