Humans, people, adults, children, they all mention their rights to freedom without thinking about how or why. They never stop to think about how it is that they have so much freedom. Freedom over choice, thought, race, religion, and who it was that came up with it and helped make it come true. During the Enlightenment period, philosophes or philosophers began to emerge. In our timeline we have recorded Galileo to be our first, who used to say that the sun was the center of the universe. This was in 1633, after that we began to have more philosophers express their ideas, such as John Locke in 1690, who published Two Treatises on Civil Government. This continued through the 17th and 18th century in Europe, where more Enlightenment Thinkers started to get together and discuss their ideas. Natural Rights allowed for the philosophers to be able to get an education and study more into their viewing and therefore, being able to come out successfully, and having everyone agree with them. Everyone is looking for freedom in the world, and with Natural Rights and the Social Contract the people will always be able to have answers as to how and why it is that we have them. With the four philosophers proving to the people that they have reliable information and safety, they are helping the people learn and have ideas for themselves. In conclusion, John Locke, Voltaire, Adam Smith, and Mary Wollstonecraft helped the people get to the point where they are today and made it possible for them to have rights and freedom wherever they go, and to feel safe with the knowledge that someone helped make it all come
