I have always found it fascinating how painfully true this statement is. We as humans can’t help but want what we can’t have. In the case of Steve, he wants a girl that’s out of his league. The audience will be able to see how the two characters should be together, they will want them to be together, but when reality sets in that’s not how it ends.
