The most laid back and fun school years I ever had was my elementary school years. I attended Roosevelt Elementary School for my whole elementary school life. I remember those years as if it happened yesterday. I did not have much homework and I mostly came for my friends. I miss the times where school would start at 8:00 a.m. and I would go to bed around 8:00 p.m. I was a bright and cheery person during my elementary school years. I had no worries in the world and all the free time in the world. The center of elementary school life was recess, where we all were active and would play any game. Elementary school is a comfort period where you build your social and independence skills. Compared to high school, I was more active in school activities. Fourth grade was the most memorable year for me. That year was the start of my orchestra and leadership career. I had my first thoughts of playing the violin when I met the orchestra teacher, Mrs. Thomas. I was so enthusiastic and had my mom sign me up immediately. I felt the most ambitious during my fourth grade year. Since I was a great student my fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Dodd, offered me the opportunity to be one of the school guards. By the time I reached 5th grade, I was much more mature and took on even more challenges. I will always remember Roosevelt as a family oriented school with a lot of culture in its architecture. Just like the rest of my academic life I received awards based on my academics and character. I says a lot by the way I remember the name of every teacher I had. Roosevelt carried great memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. In conclusion, I hope to end my journey as a high school student the same way as an elementary school student; smoothly and
