STATEMENT OF PURPOSE It is after a good deal of self evaluation that I have decided to pursue my self graduate studies in Electrical & Electronics Engineering leading to a doctorate. This is a decision followed naturally after carefully considering my ultimate background, the area of my interest, and my ultimate professional ambition, which is to pursue a research career, either as a teaching faculty member or a R & D department of industry. i have come to terms with the fact that there is an enormous proportion of subject to be assimilated, therefore I want to take up a research oriented course in my career. These coupled with a background of my educated father, an Superintendent engineer in APGENCO has made my choice of higher studies all the more obvious. Ever since I was in school I would see the electronic gadgets like mobile phones, washing machine and TV this is what triggered my fascination for electronics. The powers they yielded always amazed me. Consequently I decided to attain my Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering as it opened up many possibilities and interesting challenges for the reason that science and technology are the roots of many interesting scientific and technical activities. During my engineering course I was introduced to the concepts of microprocessors and micro controllers and I had taken an instant liking to these subjects. My undergraduate education went in GITAM UNIVERSITY, Visakhapatnam one of the reputed institutions in the state through an entrance exam and by merit. I took Electrical & Electronics Engineering as my major for it offered me innumerable choices of specialisation. I learned subjects like Circuit Theory, Power Electronics, Distribution Systems, Po... ... middle of paper ... .... If education means merely book knowledge or the passing of periodical examinations, then I am afraid I feel enthusiastic about it. Education should be a medium for the unfolding of ones inborn faculties, enabling him to use his mind, eyes, ears, and hands, as they should be used. This is the kind of education I would want, and one that I know your university will equip me with. There is no greater pleasure than that obtained by teaching. I would make a worthy teacher due to my in-depth knowledge of various subjects and incessant deliberating and conversing skills. I took up Computer Science and Engineering as my discipline in Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, one of the premier institutes in India. My undergraduate education has been a great learning and enriching process for me. It exposed me to all the core areas of Computer Science like operating systems, database management systems, networks and network security, data structures, algorithms and software engineering. These courses have given me a good foundation in the core concepts. My interest lies in Database Management, Programming Languages, Theory of Computation, and Software Engineering. I am fully acquainted with the fast growing subjects like Object Oriented Programming, Analysis and Design. On the other hand, the intensive laboratory classes exposed me to a fascinating world of experimentation. It was here that I discovered the qualities of perseverance and diligence in myself. I feel that these courses have done a lot to prepare me for my future studies and research work.
I received my commission via OCS in 2002 and was branched into the Field Artillery. I come with knowledge of both Mechanized and Airborne operations. I am truly excited to be able to learn about the Stryker platform. I have also served as a mentor to the Afghan National Army 213th Corps in Bermel and Shkin (CJTF-82), Afghanistan. I have knowledge in this type of mission and will look to contribute any way I can.
Ever since I was a child, I have had a great interest for the automotive industry. From car trivia to novel innovations, my innate passion for the automotive industry has always made me research the minutest detail of every vehicle that interested me. Since elementary school I would draw sketches of cars which incorporated technology which were unheard of at that time; novel devices such as electrochromic windshields, HUD displays, and wind turbines which would constantly re-generate electricity for the car. While growing up, my hobbies largely consisted of constructing countless Lego and Meccano sets, and repairing my mom’s 19 year-old car. In middle school, math and science were my favorite subjects: applying science and mathematics to solve real-world problems has fascinated me and I have also taken further steps to reach my goals. By the age of thirteen I devised a scaled model of a heliostat power plant, which successfully powered a light bulb. Electrical engineering is the major that I am pursuing during my college career. I decided to pursue this major because it is a career, which requires knowledge in other subjects, it is a career, which changes often, and everyday it provides a person with new problems to solve.
People travel miles in search of their true passion; some find them early in their life and I consider myself lucky enough to be one among them. I found my true calling at the age of 12 on a field trip to a milk factory. It seemed like the Disneyland of science with huge machineries, conveyer belts running all around, and instruments working about in their own rhythm with sheer intricacies and perfection. As a kid, I was eager to understand the mechanics behind this magical rhythm. The desire of gaining in-depth knowledge about Control System and Automation eventually led me to choose Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering as my undergraduate study.
This perfectly holds true for me in the world of Computer Engineering where novel ideas are not a novelty. It is this novelty that entices me to this field and gives me a deep sense of professional pride. A versatile individual and an ardent learner in all my chosen fields is how I perceive myself today. My childhood provided me a strong base of integrity and honesty upon which I have built a diverse skill set and a strong commitment to success. I opted for civil engineering as my undergraduate major at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, where my knowledge was enhanced by studying courses on Transportation Engineering and thus my liking for this field become much stronger. During second year of under graduation I went for training in Public Works Department, where I had a practical experience about pavement design and construction.

I have always dreamed of becoming one of them. For realizing this dream, I started from China 's Jilin University and then joined The University of Manchester for BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering to take more advanced professional courses. In UoM, I managed to gain GPA of 4.0.
