Dr Eldon Tyrell, who died unexpectedly at the age of 68, was one of the world's greatest minds, with achievements so big that they literally reach Jupiter. The impact of his passing will affect all of us, as we all have a little part of him in our lives and our homes. In this way he will never be forgotten.
Eldon’s life was filled with many spectacular achievements. He designed the first replicant and improved them to look and act exactly like humans. These replicants are the reason many of us are alive today. They do our labour and fight in our wars, so the rest of us can be with our friends and our families. I have one of the newer domestic models in my home and with the child care, homemaking and culinary capabilities, my wife and I have plenty of time to ourselves. For that I am extremely grateful. The premium price is undeniably worth it for the time the Nexus:Home 3TM saves. His creations are not limited to replicants though. Many of today's gadgets and programs, including the Memory ExtractorTM and the recently released Photo Analyser, were designed by Dr Tyrell. His successful and groundbreaking creations have inspired many other inventors and now our technology is developing more rapidly than ever before. He molded our world into what it is today. His company, Tyrell Corporation™, has been incredibly successful and has the highest net worth

Every year he donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the government, particularly the police force, to keep our country safe and thriving. And twelve years ago, when his mother died of breast cancer, at the age of 77, he put three million dollars out of his own pocket into cancer research and treatment. Despite his success, he kept his kind and charitable heart, and because of this he lived the best possible life he could and improved other’s lives while doing

In our society, many celebrities are selfish, but we do not take enough time to appreciate the ones that make great sacrifices in order to help the less fortunate. One person believed by many to be an inspiration on and off the baseball field is David Ortiz. David Ortiz should be given the title National Treasure because of his profound charity work and contributions to baseball. He has saved the lives of hundreds of children by giving them medical care they desperately need, and has revolutionized the role of the designated hitter in baseball.
Terry Fox in my opinion was a true Canadian hero He went to his limit to fulfill the dreams of all his friends that he made in the cancer clinics. He gave his life to those people and died for them. Terry is not a person that anybody will forget. He is and amazing person and a good role model for anybody to look up to. He has proven that he can take anything the world throws at him.
Both men give hope that tomorrow will be better by their actions. Their stories provide this hope for the future for not only those present at the time, but for all of those who hear their story. They are superheroes, superheroes of hope.
Life is hard. No one can deny that. People can wish and hope and pray for their troubles to go away, but all anyone can really do is get through them. Everyone in the world is on their own life’s journey, growing and learning from mistakes, loving and hoping, and striving for success unique to each individual. Louis Zamperini is one man who remained resilient throughout all the hardships he had to face, but it wasn’t always easy for him. It is through his triumphs over his tough times that he became an admirable role model for anyone experiencing difficulties. He displayed the honorable traits that all humans are inherently capable of if they dig deep enough within themselves.
The domestic violence he witnessed as a child was hard to read and pulled at my heart strings. His description of his dad bashing his mother’s head with a hammer and the cops doing basically nothing, makes me glad that we have come further in the journey against domestic violence; in the sense that is no longer viewed as a private matter and if his father would have done this know, he mostly certainly would have wound up in jail. No child should ever have to bear witness to this type of
...civil rights movement. He spoke on the racial injustices of America, and of the world. He led a movement in the nation, and worked towards a cause shared by the nation. He left behind his wife Betty Shabazz (1934-1997) and his six children. To this day, his legacy lives on and has inspired millions.
Douglas MacArthur is a true war hero. He risked his life to defend both his and our country. Douglas MacArthur had many bad experiences in his past; his older brother, Malcolm had died of measles when Douglas was a young boy. He had a choice: don’t serve the country, you’ll live and stay out of harm’s way (for the most part) or serve the country and put your life on the line, you might die, but think of the positive: you might live! MacArthur chose to serve the country and was one of our many war heroes and I would like to acknowledge him for that.
...ompared to Martin Luther King Jr. for being a great leader. From his amazing persuasion, he changed people’s thoughts and opened their minds. His legacy remains still today, influencing many young and old hearts in all orientations.
Founders of the organization, Frank Shankwitz and Scott Stahl, had not originally set out to begin what today is one of America’s biggest non-profit organizations. They were merely trying to fulfill the wish of their close friends dying son, Chris. Chris who was 7 years old had been diagnosed with leukemia and had always wished to be a police officer. Frank Shankwitz and Scott Stahl gathered the funds and support they needed in giving Chris a day he would never forget. Chris spent his day as a police officer. He received a customized police uniform, a badge, which once belonged to a retired lieutenant and became Arizona’s first and only honorary DPS officer. As word spread, more and more people wanted to take part in bring forth a smile to a dyin...
...ho have the courage to stand up and solve today’s issues. Hero’s are not uncommon and they can be found anywhere. A hero can’t be determined by the size of their act, but the taught behind it. Small acts that go unnoticed to changing history as we know it are all considered heroic acts in my eyes and they inspire me every day.
I have not had a single accomplishment that is worth writing about but I feel that my college completion will be one accomplishment that I will be most proud. I feel that I am taking one step forward in life that will make me become a more successful person.
In conclusion, John Lennon’s journey to become a rock icon was a tough one, but well worth it. From creating the Beatles, becoming famous for it, and still striving after a major downfall, it’s hard not to love him. Although tragically, he died before seeing his huge success blossom in this generation, people around the world never forget him. His long lasting efforts to bring peace to the world will always be appreciated by many. John Lennon and the Beatles will certainly go down in history as one for the
George Boggess served in World War II, marched with Martin Luther King Jr., and served at the DC Superior Court. He died at the ripe age of 104. His advice for living a long life? "I attribute my longevity to a great extent to walking, not being in the back of the car strapped down.”
During my life I had some accomplishments. But, I will tell you the truth I cannot call them as my great accomplishments. At this point of my life I had the two greatest events. My first event was my high school graduation. The second event, which was the biggest and the most unforgettable was my wedding day.
