Education is a precious jewel which can create limitless pearls. In this digital era the world is already
flooded with knowledge, but one has to be kept in mind to gain useful and relevant knowledge.
Now in case of classrooms the content presented to the students should be interesting and it
should involve actively all the members of the classrooms for that if we have to take into account
the digital as well as psychological aspects of teaching then the class sessions would be more
interactive and appealing. The aim of education is threefold.
a) To get a certain level of learning.
b) To preserve ethical and social culture.
c) To develop professional competence
To fulfill all the aims of education we need to motivate students to learn things that are it is referred as
creating student interest and enthusiasm attention and concentration to the learning tasks. There are
some strategies for motivating students to learn.
1. Student interest in the subject matter should be captured by asking questions, by introducing
activities, games simulations.
2. The relevance of the subject matter should be highlighted that is the content should be related
to the everyday experiences and background.
3. The lesson should be designed to create curiosity, interest, desirable expectation, supportive
environment, student success etc.
4. Feedbacks and rewards for performance should be given time to time.

Teacher as a Guiding Star
A teacher plays a pivotal role in character building, intellectual grooming and spiritual actualization
of students. Every child is unique and individual needs of every child should be met that is his innate
qualities or potentialities should be developed in such a way that he becomes an important contributor
in society.
It is not only essential for the teacher to have sufficient professional knowledge but also should have a
sweet temperament. Students should not hesitate while discussing their problems with the teacher.
Teacher should follow an approach which can help in inculcating the communitarian values, respect for
Globalism, Equity, Social Justice, human development.
Being educated can help people earn their living and be more responsible. Nowadays, education level is one of the most important requirements and comparative advantage for searching a job. The people who finish higher education, they would have more opportunity. Just like the author Wes’s father, “he finally had the chance to host his own public affairs show. And he’d hired a new writing assistant. Her name was Joy.”(12) After graduate from Bard College, his father gained more opportunities to realize his dream, being on television. Studying in college, we can learn the professional skill and know more about the
The teacher will then introduce the purpose of a main idea and supporting details to the class through a series of examples and present the students with an organizer to arrange their ideas. The teacher will then ask students to engage in think-pair-share, so that they can organize their main ideas and their supporting details.
Students need to be actively involved in the classroom by asking questions and participating in classroom activities. The students is also responsible for doing homework. If the student does not complete homework or school assignments then they are hurting themselves. The teacher can encourage students to do their work and also hold them out of activities till they do their work. This still will not help at home the students have to be responsible enough to do their homework. Students also need to be paying attention in class and participating in the class activities. The students will learn best when they are actively engaged in the lesson. Students are the most important part of education. Students are why schools are here. The most important part of education is to make sure students are learning and are able to apply the skills they learn. Students are the main focus of
“Motivation is the process whereby goal-orientated activity is instigated and sustained” (Schunk, Pintrich & Meece, 2008. As cited in Eggen & Kauchak, 2010, p.284). Motivation comes in many forms and can be divided into two broad categories - extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivators are external factors which can motivate a student; rewards are an example of this. An issue with extrinsic motivators is that the desire for the learner to participate often lessens, once the rewards are withdrawn (McCullers, 1987). On the other hand intrinsic motivation comes from within - learning for the joy of it - where the desire to learn leads to a higher level of knowledge, and is a reward in itself. Kohn (1996, p.285) states that research suggests, “Rewards actually decrease interest in intrinsically motivating tasks, therefore sending the wrong message about learning” (as cited in Eggen & Kauchak, 2010a)
Motivation to learn- The motivation is possibly for self-esteem, recognition or the possibility of a better quality of life.
Education is a very important aspect of our lives. It is our education that makes us who we are and determines what we become. Therefore, education is not something to be taken lightly. As a teacher, my goal will be to provide the best possible education for my students. Every student is unique. I must see students for who they are individually and respect their ideas and opinions. Each student has a different learning style. I must take this into consideration because I want to provide a constructive learning opportunity for every student. I believe that every student has the potential to learn.
Throughout history people as well as animals have found ways to make life, as we know it simpler. With this ease comes a greater level of technology, which requires humans to once again adapt to this ever-changing society. In result, communication, understanding and knowledge plays key importance to how our society grows. Through trial and error we have learned how education works and the best method of teaching, but we still sometimes wonder what is the absolute best way.
Study/education improves the development of a society hence the need for educated individuals to occupy significant position in order to improve such society.
Closing the digital divide involves many components, starting with the education program and teachers. While schools are integrating new technologies into their programs, teachers are supposed to keep up with the latest technologies and use them in their curriculum to teach students. According to a U.S. Department of Education Report (1999), only 24 percent of new teachers felt sufficiently prepared to integrate technology into the curriculum they were using (Brogan, 2000). The problem is, many teachers did not grow up with computers and are not receiving the training they need to operate them (Brogan, 2000). Starting work as early as 7 a.m. and leaving school as late as 5 p.m. to go home and do even more work, leaves teachers lacking the time to learn new technological skills. Many schools offer training programs for teachers. For example, the Palm Beach County, Florida school district teaches Web basics for teachers at middle schools and magnet schools (Brogan, 2000). This is a great idea because it is giving teachers the opportunity to learn about technology and it is showing that the school district is interested in helping its employees become better at what they do.
Classroom, typically speaking, is a place with a chalk board on from wall and desks places orderly facing towards that board. Nowadays, classrooms do have many other types of teaching equipments more attractive. Technology has given us projectors, color screens, computers and laptops to make learning more colorful and more interesting than before. Use of multimedia projectors, and power point slides made learning mathematical and physics principles easy. Students can get a better view of graphs and pictures. In many cases, it has become very complex to keep students interested in their education. So the teacher must be creative and find ways to keep pushing the student onward as well as upward. In order to devise the ultimate plan for educating students, a teacher must acknowledge that the “students” are what teaching is all about. The most important factor in the equation is unequivocally the STUDENT! All humans are different in some sort or fashion. But the fact still exists that we all have only this place to function in. So help by putting forth an effort to make it a better place for us all.
