He has tortured men, women and children and did medical and horrible experiments on them. He put people into pressure chambers, he tested them with drugs, had them castrated, and even froze them to death. The children were exposed to experiments, performed without anesthetics, would transfuse blood from one to another, and the kids had reactions to various stimuli. Dr.Josef Mengele put lethal germs into his people, would do sex change operations, and would remove limbs and organs. Mengele injected chemicals into the eyes of children to see if their eye color would change, but that result in many ways wouldn't work, so the kids will usually just turn blind. On several occasions, he killed his victims simply to be able to dissect them and use their body parts. He will usually stitch girl parts onto the boys, and stitch boy parts onto the girls. Most of the victims Mengele experimented on died, either during the experiment or due to later infections.(“Josef …show more content…
Josef Mengele was one of the scariest research scientist during the Holocaust because of his work he had done on different races. Mengele would be on the look out for any victims to steal or victims he thought that he could experiment on. Dr. Josef would use his people from different races and would mix their skin together and would see how they looked. The people he would like to steal would be Jewish families, Gypsy families, Homeless, sometimes orphans, many of the kids have seen the murder of their parents, siblings, and relatives. The families he stole would face starvation, have illnesses, brutal labor, and other diseases until they were put in the gas chambers. At death camps like Auschwitz children did not last very long, they were generally killed upon arrival. Children born in a camp like Auschwitz were generally killed on the spot, especially if the child was Jewish. He will paralyze his victims and cut their legs off and will use those body parts to use on later experiments. What Dr.Josef would mostly try to figure out were the development of genetics and learn more about what happens when DNA is mixed with other

... Hans Munch made false reports to save the lives of many Jews and help their diseases. Dr. Mengele did just the opposite. His famed experiments and treatments are still talked about today. The holocaust was a devastating event that killed millions of innocent Jews; and the doctors that were responsible for treating them many times only used them for their own experiments and medical projects.
Josef Mengele was a horrible person. He killed innocent people, including children, because they were jews. He was so bad you could compare him to Hitler.Since WW2, no one man has ever been as cruel as Josef
Epstein shows the process that the majority of Jews were being put through, such as the medical examinations, medical experimentations, gas chambers and crematoriums. Medical examinations were used to determine if the Jews were healthy enough to work. Dr. Mengele used the Jews as “lab rats” and performed many experiments such as a myriad of drug testing and different surgeries. The gas chamber was a room where Jews were poisoned to death with a preparation of prussic acid, called Cyclo...
Josef mengele studied twins, as well as dwarfs. He also studied people with different colored irises and looked for a cure to water cancer. His first experiments were on gypsy children. Children who had noma were exterminated immediately. Kids organs and even heads were preserved and sent in jars to institutions. Mengele also selected dwarfs with physical disabilities (such as dwarfism) for extermination. During the first part of his experiments mengele would subject pairs of twins to be experimented on (mostly awake and without painkillers or numbing). The experiments lasted for hours and was exhausting and painful for these children, most of which were already starved). The subjects were photographed and plaster casts were taken of their jaws and teeth. Their finger and toe prints were taken as well. Once the experimentation was over, mengele ordered the twins or dwarfs to be executed by lethal injection so he could move onto the next set.

Along with Josef Mengele, other medical doctors joined the Nazi party and performed wicked medical experiments inside and outside concentration camps. Some other medical practitioners include Dr. Karl Brandt, Dr. Herta Oberheuser, Dr. Carl Clauberg, and Dr. Horst Schumann. These doctors not only performed experiments to help Germany’s military, they also experimented ways to advance their belief that the Aryan race is superior to all others. These doctors executed many unreasonable and vile experiments on the innocent victims of the Holocaust.
One of the most demented doctors of the Nazi era went by the name of Josef Mengele. This was because of the gruesome experiments he conducted on woman, men, and children. Mengele wasn't always part of the Nazi culture. In fact, a lot of people don't seem to know how he ended up living the life that he did. Mengele started his career saving lives and helping people, not destroying them. So what caused him to change his ways so drastically? How could someone find it so easy to cause somebody else so much pain and agony?
... of death. Over his course of 21 months at Auschwitz he acted out grotesque practices. He is accredited with killing 14 pairs of Gypsy twins in one night. We never knew his full extent of his terror as files and laboratories were destroyed by SS towards the end of the war. He murdered up to 1.5 million children. In a disturbing twist, many modern medical advances were made due to his experiments.
“The more we do to you, the less you seem to believe we are doing it”, these are the words from one of the most notorious figures known for killing thousands during the Holocaust. This notorious figure is known as Dr. Josef Mengele aka “The Angel of Death”. To better understand Dr. Josef Mengele one must learn the thoughts of others in relation to him and what his practices were in the Holocaust. By doing this one can better answer the true question; what drove “The Angel of Death” to torture so many innocent people? Many people believed he was nothing more than a monster, and to others he was just a regular figure on the platform doing what his country asked him to do.
Even though there were other evil people, Josef Mengele was the most sadistic and brutal person from the 15th to 21st century, performing merciless and murderous experiments on others.
Josef Mengele was born on March 16, 1911, in Gunzburg, Germany. He was the born the oldest son of Walburga and Karl Mengele. His father was a “...prosperous manufacturer of farming implements” (www.ushmm.org). He had two younger brothers, Alois and Karl Jr Mengele. Through his schooling, Mengele was known to be incredibly intelligent and ambitious. He attended the Frankfurt University Institute of Hereditary Biology and Racial Hygiene, and also the Anthropological Institute at the University of Munich. He studied genetics and anthropology, and earned a Ph.D. in physical anthropology in 1935. During his time in university, he wrote three articles, most of which were dissertations. Josef Mengele will go down in history as the most heinous and gruesome killers of all time. Mengele tortured men, women, children, and subjected them to awful conditions. Mengele’s relentless killing and madness led to a life of despair and hatred. Mengele had gone mad with power, and used science as an excuse to please himself. Josef Mengele did not contribute anything to the scientific community, instead he practiced pseudo-scientific studies in order to please himself. Mengele’s killing and torture, only backed up his Angel of Death nickname.

Mengele used his anthropological studies to an advantage while experimenting on prisoners in Auschwitz. As you’ve probably heard, the experiments had no regard for the health or safety of the victims. Mengele’s specimen were better fed and taken care of than that of most prisoners in Auschwitz. They were also temporarily safe from the gas chambers. He took things to the next level by tricking kids into thinking they were safe by founding a Kindergarten in which he would play the violin for them while injecting their hearts with dangerous poisons. Dr. Mengele oddly quoted, “The more we do to you, the less you seem to believe we are doing.” Many people thought that Mengele was a creepy individual, and this proved it.
